I did some research and discovered that the Japanese have a treatment for this that is also beneficial to kidney health – it's a garment called "haramaki" that is nearly identical to this one made in Latvia. Because this garment is found in Japan and Europe, I believe it is an ancient health remedy. Germany has a similar device, though it is a wrap-around device. It's not a tube that's being passed around. The Japanese abandoned the haramaki as a traditional garment decades ago, but it is now enjoying a resurgence as a fashion statement, and it is knitted in a variety of colors and designs to be worn as an accessory. I wanted something that was more practical and had a lot of features. material of high quality br>br>On the package, this item is described as follows: "Medical elastic belt (back warmer) with Angora and Merino wool for radiculitis and neuritis treatment and prevention. Back muscle pain is relieved and tension is relieved, which speeds up the recovery process. Internal organs benefit from the gentle support and improved blood microcirculation provided by the belt. It's also a good idea for people who work in cold weather, have a draught, or have extra pressure on their lumbro-femoral joints. This is a "tube" style garment that you pull over your head like a sweater and adjust around your middle. "br>br> It's thick and firm, but it's soft and stretchy at the same time. It covers and warms your middle without riding up or folding over, rather than squeezing it. It's best worn as underwear rather than over clothing (although the Japanese haramaki is frequently worn over clothing). br>br>Pay close attention to the size chart and order the exact size that fits your waist perfectly, no larger or smaller. Mine ended up being the ideal size for me. br>br>The "Tonus Elast" (Tonus 9509-1) is a "Tonus Elast" (Tonus 9509-1) that is a "Tonus Elast" that is AM) is a Latvian product. The following are the components: 52% cotton, 35% mixed wool, 7% latex, and 6% polyester are used. The inside and outside are made of different materials: the inside is made of cotton, while the outside is made of wool. If you require more warmth, you can turn it inside out. It is 11. 4 inches tall, which is plenty long enough to cover your midsection. The garment's "serviceable life" is estimated to be 5 years. br>br>Wash in warm water with a soap solution by hand; do not use bleach or other chemicals, and do not twist or wring dry. Dry on a flat surface. Ironing should be avoided. My package arrived in a large bubble envelope. br>br> The back- The warmer is kept safe in a clear plastic sleeve that includes instructions in a variety of languages. To make it clear what the "mixed wool" is all about, the package includes images of a rabbit and a ball of yarn labeled "Angora" as well as a sheep labeled "Merino. " When I'm working in a cold environment, it does a great job of keeping me warm around the waist. It's soft and cushy, but it's also durable. Well- It was well-packaged and delivered quickly; I ordered it on Saturday and received it on Tuesday, shipped from Massachusetts. It is unquestionably a good purchase at a reasonable price.
When you think of merino wool and angora, you probably think of warmth-building and-retention. That is far from the case. This thing is at best flimsy thin, and it's certainly not capable of retaining and building up body heat when worn around the waist; I'm not sure what I'd compare it to, but I'd say taping around a cheap towel would suffice. br>I'm sorry, but I can't give this one more than a one-star rating. Because there are no built-in heaters or heating pads, it's supposed to help keep your lower back warm. It's not even close to being good at it. br>I'm going to Amazon to return it.
In a way, yes. I should have paid attention to the reviews instead. This product was said to shrink if washed, according to a review I read. I didn't think much of it, so I washed it after the contortion. And, to my surprise, it shrank. Overall, it takes a few minutes to become accustomed to the texture. It's not quite soft, but neither is it harsh. It did keep my back warm, and I was a lot less sore after class, so I was able to continue training throughout the week.
My only complaint is that it should be longer. This is about 6 inches too short for me because I have a long torso. However, it is far too hot to give up. So maybe a short, regular, and long size could be offered?.
When I first got it, I thought it was an ace bandage for your tummy, but it's actually quite warm, despite not being bulky, and very comfortable to wear!.
This is fantastic! It's extremely warm and long-lasting, but washing it will cause it to shrink.
I followed the size chart as well as the recommendations of other reviewers. Women's S/M tops are what I'm interested in. An XS made me do it. It rides up and feels too tight, causing my back muscles to tense up as well. I wish I'd sized up earlier.
I suffer from lower back pain, and this belt helps me a lot. I usually wear M or S sizes, but after reading the reviews, I decided to go with size M of the belt, which isn't too tight but provides enough comfort that I wore it overnight.
