The color and neck padding appealed to me, and the adult size was perfect for my tall, thin pre-teen niece. The doctor provided her with a black one with no neck padding. I knew she'd go crazy for a colorful one! br>br>Despite the fact that I was looking through the kids and colorful girls slings, I'm glad I got this because of the color and sizing. br>br>It's a shade of blue she likes a lot, it's comfortable, and the fit is perfect.
Within a week, the hospital sling was no longer functional. This is my fourth sling attempt, and it turned out beautifully. However, the fabric used is a D-grade. To make this one long enough, I spliced a strap from another sling into the shoulder strap. My five-foot-one mother put it on me, and I'm not a small person by any means. It was also a good fit. The improvised replacement strap at least fit over my shoulder without sitting up in my arm pit, making the strap essentially the same size as a children's size. Because the fabric is so rough, the padding on the strap is completely useless. To protect my neck, I'll need to make a new cover. Basically, I'm disappointed because it would have been a fantastic sling if it had been made of better fabric and had a longer strap.
When I broke my shoulder, I had to get this sling. Because I am always hot, I had hoped to use it as my primary sling, but it ended up being my back-up sling while my primary sling was being washed. The pocket is too small to hold most cell phones, and the straps are too narrow to prevent them from twisting and cutting into my neck as a result of supporting the weight of my arm.
Very easy to adjust and very comfortable. Mesh is breathable, and there is a large pocket for my phone. To prevent chafing on the neck, the neck pad can be moved. The turquoise provides a nice contrast to the black.
They consist of a strap looped through a buckle. It's far too difficult to get this properly adjusted on hubby when he wears it. To take it off, you must loosen all of the straps after they have been adjusted. I'm going to look for one that's a little more user-friendly. Getting it adjusted and the straps properly locked in the loops is excruciatingly painful for him.
It's very light and comfortable. I kept my arm and shoulder in the proper position to avoid further injury without becoming rigid or inconvenient. Because an entire strap was missing, I had to deduct a star. I didn't want to call support, so I used a suitcase strap I had on hand, which worked perfectly.
For someone who has had shoulder surgery, it is far too complicated. Snapping attachments are required rather than stringing to fit. br>Even my husband gave up and we threw it in the closet, never to be used again! The only thing I like about it is the color, and it's absurd that a cellphone slot was prioritized over the adjustments.
It's comfortable and keeps your arm in place while you sleep.
