I'm not sure why, but I use them in baking to measure yeast, salt, and other small amounts.
Polystyrene melts at 464 degrees Fahrenheit (240 degrees Celsius), so it should be fine at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
These dishes are 3 5/16 inch wide by 3/4 inch deep, so they should fit on most smaller scales, according to Ivan. We have smaller sizes available if they are too big. br>Thank you for your time and consideration, and have a pleasant day.

I've only ever used these trays to weigh small quantities of tea. There should be no more than seven grams in total. The trays have a smooth surface, which is typical of most plastics, so my guess is "no." However, extremely fine powder will leave traces on anything. I hope this has been of assistance.

Because I am legally blind, I wrote this review with that in mind. br>br>These are fantastic for kitchen work. I enjoy planning ahead of time. For a couple of reasons, I measure my ingredients as they do on cooking shows.
Pros:
1. Because each ingredient has its own boat, I can easily see which ones I've done and which ones I haven't.
2. Because I am prone to overpouring, I avoid pouring ingredients over the mixing bowl. Dry ingredients, in particular. These don't take up nearly as much space as ramekins, are less expensive, and don't break as easily (which is crucial for a blind person). br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>The only drawback I've discovered so far is that the boats are adaptable - instead of ramekins - As a result, when it's time to combine everything in the bowl, they must be picked up with greater care. I've had a few spills, but not nearly as many as when using any rigid vessel.
These boats are used to deliver powdered candy to customers. While some fine residue may adhere to the surface, most can be removed with a few gentle flicks of a finger. The ability to fold the boats is very useful because it eliminates the need to spoon the candy into the plastic bags.
For a small scale, this is a good-sized tray. They carry out their responsibilities: contain the thing you're attempting to weigh.
I use them to weigh a variety of components in the winemaking process - For my purposes, potassium metabisulfite, yeast, Malolactic bacteria, lysozyme, and other ingredients are very useful. I've placed several orders so far.
I like these weigh boats because they can be folded to transfer chemical into a volumetric flask in a qualitative manner.
Weigh boats that are both sturdy and adaptable. I can use a weigh boat several times before having to replace it. I would strongly suggest it.
These are ideal for using with a digital scale to weigh out items.
This is exactly what we had hoped for.
