These are functional, but the material isn't ideal. It has a lot of friction and holds on to a lot of my powder. I'd be wasting money if I used it to measure a valuable product, but for my purposes, supplement powder, it's fine. However, the powder residue does tend to build up with repeated use. It's also too thick and stiff, making bending and tapping off the powder difficult. When you release it, the combination of these factors causes it to spring back, ejecting a cloud of powder into the air and soiling nearby surfaces such as your scale. I've had much better weigh boats for less money in the past. I'm curious as to whether the manufacturer believes the thicker plastic adds quality.
On a scale, these little guys are ideal for measuring spices in the kitchen. Because they are anti-static, all of your spices will slide right out of the boat, leaving none behind. They're also extremely light, weighing only one pound each. 74 g. On a tiny scale A regular glass mixing bowl weighs too much to be scaled at 01 g, even the tiniest ones. This is ideal.
My fault for ordering the incorrect size and receiving the correct ones the next time. However, both the seller and the product are excellent.
The best boat is a hex boat.
