Borosilicate is known by its brand name Pyrex. There are no different types of pyrex all are The Pyrex is made from Borosilicate, but that has nothing to do with it However, I can assure you it is tempered, or it would have already shattered before it had cooled. Thanks for reading!

Scientific Equipment of Houston is not a good company to purchase from. In place of the Pyrex bottle, I received a Simax bottle.

Here are some of the bad things A bottle of 1 liter capacity does not have a 1 liter fill line marking! Filling the bottles to this quantity very precisely is very frustrating if you need to make sure they are all filled The only reason why this bottle didn't get a 5-star rating is because it was a bit too thin I gave it five stars. A little bit too small an opening at the top It would have been better if it was a bit larger so liquids could be easily poured in, but it manages to do the job.

I then joke that I am going to get some "acid" to drink from the drip - As with plain glass bottles, this tea carafe has a ring. It's sheer delight to pour my tea without half of it running down the sides as with plain glass containers. It is a Pyrex product, like all of their other products, that is of quality. It will be easy to see how durable it is once you hold it in your hands. Any liquid can go in it, whether it is water, juice, smoothies, etc. A few more may be on the way. In the past, I have used plastic bottles, so switching to glass would be a good option.
I expect nothing less from these storage bottles. These bottles are for storing liquid solutions and are meant to be transported. I find it odd that the lid doesn't have a gasket. The only thing that separates the two is glass and plastic. As long as you keep plastic away from glass you will have a decent seal.
There were two each 1000mL screwtop bottles in the order. There were two bottles of each type, one bottle of 1000mL, one bottle of 800mL. In addition, the 800mL bottle WAS NOT made from Return to the United Arab Emirates is not feasible because a return is needed immediately.
