Could these be sealed tight in an autoclave? I noticed the screw on the top was ?

Gas must escape from them in order for them to work, but they are not recommended. You can cover the cap with aluminum foil after tightening the cap, back it off 14.8 turns, and then tighten it again. A PC is placed in the autoclave.

What are the microwave instructions for these?

Glass containers without the orange top can be microwaved, but only if they are glass. You should still microwave the glass container only for a short period because there is a Teflon sealant around the glass rim which may become damaged if microwaved longer

My collection of these have been used for a variety of different projects, such as making agar dishes and The glasses are made of thick borosilicate glass and have a plastic pour spout that makes pouring easy. They also list the measurements. I have the orange cap version and have used them in an electric pressure cooker to sterilize agar solutions (make sure the cap is loose so the pressure can escape). The product is solid.

It is better to have a better tool to complete The way to handle agar is much better Rather than my 1000 ml Erlenmeyer flask, I used 500 ml! I found the flask to be adequate for yeast starters, but too clumsy to use in still air boxes

As I grow oyster mushrooms, I have learned a lot. It should also improve brewing efficiency by making it possible to make yeast slants in a more sanitary manner.

I wish they were a little cheaper, but as they say, you As a result of my investigation, I found out that the caps (Polypropylene GL45) are able to withstand alkalis as well as water Acidic solutions can be stored in these containers because they oxidize and can be used to store most standardized.

These are great compared to the usual glass containers I would have bought. . As a result of the graduated bottle and inert safety cap, it is worth the extra money.
