Questions & Answers

Is this suitable for drying rocks that are soft to the touch?

The answer is yes In spite of the fact that I am not a "rock hunter," I have used my tumbler to polish some quite nice I did not have any problems with it.

Please let me know if there are any nuts, nut oil or anything related to nuts in this. Does it contain nuts, or is it made in media that contains nuts. ?

Since I have used the product numerous times, I have not found any indication of nuts.

Are these media suitable for zinc electroplating? I need a smooth and uniform coating surface for poloshing. ?

This tool is used for brass, which is a mixture of copper and zinc. Zinc as a metal is harder In light of this, my answer would be 'yes'. It may take longer for you to achieve the desired result than it does for me to use

Coins made of copper need cleaning?

Metal cleaners or polishes need to be added to the medium if you want it to clean. Copper should be cleaned with it, but I am unsure of how well it works.

There is no residue on the brass
4/5

In my very first attempt, I polished 100 9mm cases using the product in a traditional tumbler and it worked very well. Due to the granules' small size, no residue was left on the cases and the granules penetrated inside and outside the cases very effectively. Due to the high cost of this media, I cleaned the cases in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove dirt and increase the life.

I then invested in a Hornady vibratory tumbler to increase Due to the fact that the new tumbler can polish 600 cases at a time, the amount of polishing media required has increased considerably. Due to my cheap nature and my dislike of spending extra time cleaning cases, I looked into other forms of In the end, I used corn cob from the local pet store and a small bottle of car polish from Nu Finish. 3 hours later, the brass has become sparkling after being vibrated in the tumbler. Despite the fact that this works well, there are other ways to accomplish the same task for less money.

I think this is pretty clean
5/5

This corn cob media has cleaned up the powder residue left by Walnut Shell media I used to start with. It works well with my new vibratory tumbler, too. I bought it to replace the walnut shell media I was using at first. Also, it is compatible with polishes as well as biodegradable lubricants. It's worth noting that I've tumbled over 1,000 cases with this so far, with the first batch still being I have not yet replaced it! I think you get excellent value for your Consider switching to this if you still use walnut. I don't have to clean up as much.

Gets stuck in flash holes even though it cleans well! Unlike the nuts, the grains get stuck in my flash holes
4/5

Cleans my cases well and lasts for quite a while. Media of a finer grade is better, I have been told.

You'll look like a jewelry designer when you wear your brass
5/5

Using corn cob media in my Frankford Arsenal Kwik n EZ case tumbler, I am able to finish off my brass beautifully. When this Corn Cob Media alog is used in conjunction with a liquid brass cleaner, the results are outstanding. Please take note of the following You should only reload brass with a cleaner specifically designed for reloading brass. Using brasso or other home-type cleaners will cause brass to soften and corrode.

In addition to the small bottle of Quick-fix, they also included a note Here's EZ Brass Polish with instructions on how to use it with this cleaning medium
5/5

Brass turns out to be more lustrous as a result. It never occurred to me to clean brass that way, even though I have been cleaning brass for 25 years. Neither of these sellers will disappoint me! I'll be buying more from them soon.

This works just fine
4/5

About this stuff, I have nothing much to say. There are all kinds of media made from corn cob, so you can get it anywhere. I think you can get cheaper stuff at the pet store, but it's still quite cheap and quite convenient. Then I pour in a little polymer-based polish and let it sit overnight until it shines really well.

The quality of the product is good
5/5

This top-quality product is great for cleaning or polishing There is no comparison with Amazon's free shipping, especially when you consider the price. Containers that hold 5 lb of media are useful for adding media to cleaners or polishers, as well as mixing media before adding to cleaners or polishers.
