I only needed it to trim the new cork on my daughter's clarinet, since the safety cover on her clarinet doesn't stay in place While I tried to use it to trim a thin piece of cardboard, at the point I had to apply a little bit more pressure than I did with the cork, the cover kept sliding back up again. It wouldn't be a good idea to buy this blade if you're going to be using it repeatedly or cutting anything thicker than normal paper.
Buy it if you don't want to be cut yourself. They are very very sharp and you might get hurt.
As a chronic acne sufferer, I use this product to aid in removing cysts of greater size. The medical training I've received and the sanitation methods I use make me uniquely qualified. Scalpels of this quality are sharp and of good quality.
An image with a blade and an image with a regular blade. Probably a shark. A #15 scalpel is a very small blade, and I didn't realize it would come in a box of 10. I could've just found out what a #15 scalpel was by doing a quick Google search. The fact that I only needed one and received a total of 10 is enough for me not to need to buy scalpels for some time.
You should be cautious when handling it since it is extremely sharp. It is critical that you look carefully at how the scalpel opens and closes, because I accidentally injured myself trying to close it.
There is a lot less blade than the picture shows, not as sharp as the picture implies.
A better trimmer than those in the store! I use this to trim calluses around my feet because it is very sharp and precise.
