A genuine item of this quality and workmanship would be made by an American brand (Briggs Precision Kelly Forceps), but the manufacturer is probably A letter to Briggs with the order number and stamped part number on the sticker would be helpful if one needs to know for sure.
This is not a very sharp curve. This angle is about 15 degrees, as far as I can tell.

As far as I know, this is not the intended use of the product, but I thought I would share it with the community for future reference should anyone be looking for a solution for the same purpose. These are actually something I use to get into the tub drain so I can pull out clumps of hair stuck As gross as it might be, it's just part of life. I have a tendency to let the drain clog up so extensively that it barely drains at all, and by then, it is so hard to use the plastic snakes, because the blockage There were other things I had used to get in there, but nothing gave me the length and grip I needed. One day, I suddenly realized it was true! I forceps you! After receiving these, I went straight to my bathtub to clip them on the hair in my drain, and then an embarrassingly huge clump of hair popped out As you can imagine, I was opened up to a whole new world of drain unclogging. In contrast to digging and pulling and only clearing a small section at a time, these baby turks tackled the entire clog in one go. don't think there is enough I can say about these for this purpose alone, since I have never used them for their intended function, and probably won't in the future. I have placed these in my toolbox and they will stay there for all time.
Two of the Curved Kelly Forceps have been purchased for the Trauma Kit These are not the same. One is near-EMT quality, and its jaws are nearly as accurate as its clamp-- so these are not similar. Compared to the other one, the jaws on the other are not exactly the same. The grinding/buffing was pretty aggressive, which thinned out one of the jaws, so the two are not the same. In the process, they probably weakened their side. There are two that make it to the real world the other goes in my basement where it might prove useful. That's about it. The polishing of both is of low quality The set is good and not like my professional ones. This would not be a purchase I would make.
THE UPDATE IS As the hinges rust, the door will not close properly. Since the hinge pin is not stainless steel, I can only assume that it is not In spite of fishing in clear and clean freshwater, I didn't take the rods out and dry them overnight, so I found them rusted the next morning. I would have given them four stars, but if you weren't stupid, they are fine, but really, how much would a stainless steel hinge pin cost? I decreased the stars from four Generally speaking, they are fine, but they aren't what they claim to be. Please note - My favorite Kelly Forceps when I am flying are the 'B' Series It's fish time. The purpose of these devices is to release a fish without taking it out of the water, but recently I have mostly been using them In comparison to the forceps they're replacing, these are of considerably higher quality. There is a smoothness to them As others have mentioned, there are no grinding marks on the surface. They are nicely polished as well. The new pair is heavier and more robust than the old pair There is a sturdy pivot Square jaws and even serrations are the hallmarks of the design. I paid a higher price for them than I did for the pair they replaced The words "veterinarian grade" describe the item. That bent was not straight. It hurt my thumb when I pulled out a tiny, size 22 hook. It's better with these. It's worth checking them out.
I'm a dog groomer and I needed to replace the ones I lost. There are ridges on their surface, so they hold well. The best thing about these is that anyone can use them.
These are what I ordered to remove my nipple piercings on my own, without having to have them removed by a professional. I like that they arrived quickly, and that's about all they have going for them. There are some small chips in the metal, which shows that the metal was made very poorly and has several places where it was chipped, or has gone I noticed that the hinges had something caked on them. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism is awful, it gets tangled on itself, and it nearly snagged on my piercings. Unclamping my piercings from the barbell hurt just as much as unclamping the locks from the barbell itself. In spite of disinfecting them beforehand, they still became This one served its purpose of holding the barbell in place so that I could take it out, and it was the only reason I didn't bother returning them. They aren't the best, but these aren't the worst either.
There are these. In my life, I have encountered better Kelly's, but these (which I purchased for plucking out our dogs' ears instead of medical use) may well be the worst. They look, handle, and feel worse than anything else I've encountered in a Kelly. Their metal is 'chalky' not (if that's possible, but the metal has an ashy residue that comes off the clamps) and the joint that opens and closes the clamps does not work smoothly, so they are often difficult to My deduction is that this is likely a consequence of poor material quality (e. g. This causes the metal to have a 'chalky' appearance. Because of this, the clamps are harder to use than normal. In the case of using them on a living creature, I'd advise staying away from I don't know what kind of hobby these might be useful for, but I may have some uses for them.
This is both misleading and inaccurate! In it is described as a "precision" product, Amazon LLC should remove the word. My purchase of these forceps were not exactly precise the tips are jagged and misaligned so they don't provide a precise grasp. A pair of precise forceps that I purchased from an electronic store before helped me.
Having been a firefighter and EMT for many years, I decided to put together this EMB by buying most of the items on In the unlikely event that it is needed to pick an artery or a vein in an emergency, it is a small and inexpensive tool that is likely to save a life. The items in the photos were all.
