The handle is a good size to get a grip on without being too large or too small, which is ideal for the size of a plantar wart. The metal is more than strong enough for the job. The scalloped end isn't quite as sharp as I had hoped or desired, but it's probably safer to use because it's not razor sharp. I used an acid-based wart remover on the wart and then suffocated the virus with clear nail polish after it dried. I scraped the dead area of the wart with this instrument every 2 or 3 days for a few weeks, then let my wound heal for a week or so. After a couple of sessions, the infected area appeared to still have remnants of ward, so I repeated the process three times in total. It could have just been where the skin was regenerating, but the area seemed to shrink with each visit, and after three visits, I believe it was gone. I'm still keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't return, but I've been fighting this wart for nearly three years and it's finally gone. Only four stars because it could be sharper, but because it was a little dull, I felt safer using it.
Summer sores on horses are too small to debrief in. Although of good quality, the scoop is extremely small. I wanted to use it to help my horse with a summer sore, but it was too small and sharp.
There is no way I would buy it again.
As expected, the package arrived on time. They've been sterilized once, and no flaws have been discovered.
