Lightweight aluminum construction designed for quick and safe stair evacuation in both residential and commercial settings. Color-coded navigational controls with a nightlight are simple to use and understand. Lifting handles with molded hand grips are designed to reduce stress and give caregivers more control. If necessary, the locking guide handles can be extended for safe lifting. Telescoping lift handles can be easily adjusted to meet the needs of caregivers.

Dual, extra-grip treads withstand high-volume use, while high-durability tracks provide non-slip traction on any surface. For use in confined spaces, 4 in. swiveling front castors provide more range of motion and a tighter turn radius. Dual locking rear wheels with sealed bearings help to keep patients safe while loading and unloading. What is the overall width of this chair, as well as the required height? I'm checking to see if our old farmhouse staircase is too narrow. Thanks. ?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. MS3C's Width The total number of TSBs is 19. 5". 45" is my height. The guide bar, on the other hand, rises to about 65" in height. A minimum space of 42"x42" is recommended if you have an "L" shaped landing. We also have chair configurations that will work for landings that are 38"x38". MS3C- The 300TSB has been designed to move both up and down.

Is it possible to use this on a curved staircase?

Our Houston, Texas facility services and ships these chairs. MS3C- The electrical components of the 300TSB are covered by a one-year limited warranty, while the frame is covered by a three-year limited warranty. When the tracks aren't being used, this battery-powered model can be used as a transport chair. If the battery runs out, the tracks lock in place to keep the chair from sliding down the stairs. This is a well-engineered product in general (I'm an engineer)

It's sturdy and has good human factors elements that make it (mostly) simple to use. br>br>Two points to consider: 1) It's "back tipsy" without someone in the chair, i. e. It doesn't take much to knock it over backwards, and 2) If you don't want the battery to (slowly) drain when you're not using it, turn it off. The issue is that the on/off switch is located on the battery pack on the underside of the battery at the very bottom of the unit, and you must know where it is and which way to push as you feel for it to (de)activate it.

It does exactly what it says

A family member requires dialysis three times a week and must leave our home, which has four steps in front or must be accessed through the garage. Due to a recent injury, I was unable to climb or descend stairs. That issue was resolved by this product. Practice runs with an empty chair are recommended to ensure proper clearance and familiarity with the chair's operation.

It had an impact on our lives

It's an excellent product that has allowed us to keep our second-floor apartment instead of having to relocate due to my husband's inability to climb the stairs. Because of the structure, a stairlift was not an option. We've been enjoying it ever since we got it.

First and foremost, this chair, in my opinion, cannot be operated safely by one person because it requires the operator to balance the 60 pound chair plus the weight of the rider while simultaneously holding down the button to motorize the chair

If the button is accidentally pressed, it is nearly impossible to regain movement once momentum has been lost.

This is a great product for anyone who lives in a house with stairs. When folded, the product is sturdy and takes up little space. I wish the foot rest was a little longer, but other than that, this is an excellent product that I would recommend.
