I don't believe it does. Transfer chairs that fully recline are much more expensive and are more difficult to maneuver.

It was extremely rough! I did not feel comfortable at all. I had trouble moving the legs of the chair due to the fact that the chair didn't seem to operate smoothly. Assembly was easy for some parts, but difficult for others. This chair from the hospital was purchased for my grandmother, and she is having a hard time raising her legs It is not possible to turn the wheels 360 degrees! There is no difference between the back wheels and the front wheels. You should not purchase this RV if you plan on maneuvering an elderly spouse around the house in comfort. The chair cannot be moved, so this was a complete waste of money. In other words, when I say you can't move the chair, I mean you can't move it! Despite purchasing this product a few months ago, I have not used it once for my grandmother who is disabled and who I take care of full time. My goal is to break her of her bed so I tried this, it didn't I advise you not to buy.
A color was delivered that was not what I ordered. A pea green colored chair was delivered to our house. I had no problems assembling the unit. Despite this, however. It won't recline to lay back in the final position. The notch is 1/2 inch from the end of the channel. I attempted to move it multiple times but it didn't move. Father is 91 years old and can't recline - We have been doing law for a very long time Because of the wrong color and the reason for the lower rating, I am marking it lower.
I am very happy with this.
