It's getting harder to stand up to shave my legs now that I'm on the older side. Getting this because of the length and the simplicity at a good price made me happy. You will find it very comfortable to sit on, very attractive (nice colour), good height for average women, and has a very sturdy construction. There are no beads of water left on The bench on the shower is very nice.
The item was kept, but it should have been returned. In order to make it comfortable to sit on, I will need to sand it before using it in the shower. It is so warped that it is the main problem. There is a real bowed line in the middle of the support bar. This is a complicated, cattywampus unit, but it does have levelers that can be adjusted. Although I appreciate the fact that it is made of reclaimed materials, I was not expecting the wood to warp.
It is hard to imagine that we didn't have a bench in the bathroom before. I highly recommend it because it is sturdy and very practical. From now on, it will be a permanent fixture.
Craftsmanship of the highest order. The construction is solid. Constructible in a matter of minutes. A nice story on the origins of the box the piece was packed in.
