Stair chairs of this quality are top of the line. Having used stair chairs before, I can honestly say this one is superior. This chair has four wheels instead of two like some stair chairs, making it very convenient to use in moving the person. Great way for those who cannot move up or down stairs to still gain access to those parts of the house. Built very well and will hold up well over time. It can also be used as an alternative exit method for people who are physically disabled and live in an area where the elevator might be disabled, either due to a mechanical failure or some.
I like how strong and easy it is to move. It works great on smooth surfaces too. Basically, the only thing I need to note is that the lock is easy to unlock, which could either be a good thing or a bad The position of the locks and unlocks is not indicated by any signage. Those pushing the chair who do not know this could easily (accidentally) unlock it, which could result in the chair closing up on the patient seated in it.
It is sturdy and well-built. My mother is now bound to a wheelchair, so I need to move her up and down the stairs in her house. In addition, # 2 is a factor to consider. In the event of an emergency, the device will quickly enable her to leave the area. I find that it is apt to meet my requirements. A well-built and sturdy structure. A feature I would like to see is the option to temporarily lock the two front wheels after transit while we are removing the wheelchair user from it. The rest of the story is as follows It is an excellent piece.
In response to my husband's request to go up and down 15 steps, I thought that this might be a suitable option. The adjustable handles on this chair get stuck, making it difficult to use. It was only after we struggled with the handles for several minutes that we were able to use it, later on we had to struggle to close them. There was a lack of stability throughout the design. There would be no problem if the number of stairs was limited The maximum is 4) but not more.
I think the overall value is good. Those will be sturdy, we'll build them. Despite the fact that the chair works well on hard surfaces (tile, stone, hard wood), the size of the wheels means the chair is difficult to push on carpeted floors. This is an excellent transport vehicle for patients who need to ascend and descend.
Take a person down the stairs is something I used to do.
The new egress stairs were required by the building code.
The service was fast, the price was good, and the value was good.
