Questions & Answers

Would this apply to the upstairs as well?

In situations where a stretcher is not appropriate, stair chairs can be used to assist patients up and down stairs. However, gravity won't always be on the patient's side. A lot of strength and control are required to climb than to descend. Weight and size of the patient will be the two most important factors, while the strength and skills of the lifters will be the biggest limitations.

The chair needs to be opened. How can you do that? I only used it once and now it will not The time to return has long passed. It is necessary to use a chair. ?

Please help me with my mom's chair since she cannot lock it In order to keep the seatbelt closed, I use the seat belt. Apparently, there is a piece of debris between the two, which prevents It should be easy to figure I'm an Angela

What is the purpose of the safety lock on this chair when it is closed? I'll have to use a strap or something if I want it to stay closed. ?

The one I have also does not lick. During folding of the chair, I use the extra strap to hold it in place. Transporting a 100 pound telescope in my chair and then sitting in it is what I do.

Would it be possible to climb six steps daily with this device?

Two people are still needed to lift the person in the chair despite their heavy duty nature.

This EMS stair chair is used in the emergency department
5/5

Buying this was the best decision I have ever My 86-year-old grandmother can't climb the stairs down the stairs so I went and bought an EMS Stair Chair for her. My life was saved because of this. It takes two people to lift it. It is comfortable for my grandmother to sit in the chair with the chest and legs resting across each other. There is a lot of strength in this. My only comment is that this is the greatest purchase anyone can make for someone who cannot walk down You should always lift with at least two people. Attempt this on your own at your own risk. My gratitude goes out to you for creating this product. I am delighted with it. In emergency medical situations, it's just as good as what's used by emergency responders. There is so much value in this product. To have the fire department come to your aid every time you need a chair lift would cost more. If this chair were for you, then it would be ideal. Take a moment to consider this. convenient than going to a store. I don't have to wait for you. My opinion is that that's a win-win situation.

This method does what it needs to do for a light patient with is adequate for getting my mother up and down the stairs, even though she is 1-220 lbs and not that tall
4/5

I would suggest not extending the lower handle to the limit, especially if you are carrying heavy things. Among the things I didn't like about the chair was that the bar running across the front of the seat was elevated under the seat, which caused discomfort for those in the lift. The use time of the device should be kept to a minimum, however, in most circumstances. There is no need to evacuate in this chair, as it is only intended The patient is more likely to fall off the seat if the seat is padded, so I don't recommend that. As far as the price is concerned, I would consider it a good buy.

Exactly what the job calls for
5/5

Chairs with this design are perfect for people on a budget as well as for the job they will serve. It will, however, not be used in case of medical or emergency situations. This chair is equipped with cross-chest seat belt style straps that will secure the scientific instrument while transporting it from point A to B. In order to hold the instrument in place, the onboard leg strap works well as the third strap. It is easy to lift the chair over rough surfaces with the alternate handles. Having wheels and brakes makes the chair very portable and ideal for transporting over reasonably smooth terrain or for steadying the chair while it is being unloaded. One of the most important aspects is portability. When not in use, the chair folds up to take up less space during transportation, and opens to become a stable piece of furniture. During extended visits to the field, the removable seat makes it easy to hold additional instruments and provide a comfortable place to sit. This is a very nice chair that meets and exceeds all expectations as well as exceeding I really like it.

Do not replace a broken chair with a more expensive one
3/5

An issue with the right handle at the bottom prevents it from locking. Since I need it, I am unable to return It was a very disappointing experience. The broken handle on this chair has forced us to spend more on it for safety reasons, so we still need to be careful.

It's a great safe product
5/5

We purchased it for our EMS company so we can remove patients from large stadiums or arenas. During an event last week, I needed to use it. I loved how fast, easy, and lightweight it was. It had to be lifted over the railings on the stairs going down, and the patient had to be carried with it. I had no problem with it. On the top of the handle, put the strongest staff, and on the bottom, put the most stable staff. I carried the suitcase down 25 stairs and then turned 90* to carry the luggage back up. A flawless job was done. Another one is on its way now as I've just ordered it to add to our collection.
