It may be possible if the person is an acrobat. It is necessary for another person to adjust the chair. It is likely that the person in the chair cannot even adjust the footrests because he or she is disabled.

It is not good to ship
4/5

Chairs of this quality are fantastic! Whether you're shopping for yourself or the elder members of your family, you can order it here. As he just had a major surgery, he is pretty fragile at the moment and the chair is very comfortable for him. There's something wrong with the way the item is shipped with this particular item. Only one person was needed to lift the package off the truck. It was delivered by UPS. A ripped and torn box was lying on the ground. When the second one arrived, it was heavily damaged and I swear that the first box looked exactly like it. I sent the first one back because the package was so However, I had to take it because it was necessary. Even though its leg is bent, it still My dad finds it very comfortable to use, and it is easy to maneuver.

Below are references to an update on my chair.

Did I get the same chair as all of these others I just assemble a chair that does not reflect those values. I regret to inform you that in mid-September, I found out in November that my Mom has colon cancer and she's been in the hospital continuously since then. My husband and I were thrilled to discover a similar product on Amazon. I was really impressed with how fast and well the package was packed. Really good job on that part!

It comes in A back cushion, tray, and bottom (including armrests, wheels, and cushion are already attached to the chair. 2) The manufacturer provided two screws, an allen wrench, and a one-inch wrench This booklet is a few pages long. The basic level of assembly is yes. As long as you follow the directions in the correct order, you'll be fine. The first time I sat in the chair after assembly is when I began to question my sanity. It is the most uncomfortable chair I feel as if I'm sitting on No give at all can be felt in the seat, back, or It is a thin cushion, so I cannot see any trace of a rip At the end of the "in" period, there isn't a lot to break. . . A bad angle is also a problem with the upright position, as it is difficult to sit in it comfortably. When I sat all the way back with my spine against the pillow, I couldn't touch the floor with my legs. I'm 5'1", and my legs would not reach the floor. This is a severe disappointment to me since comfort is so important in a chair, and I bought it in anticipation of positive reviews. The armrests are another point of concern. Despite the cushioning covering most of the length, it is still just hard metal framing to hold the tray in place. It is possible to rest your wrists and hands on metal if you do not have the tray installed. I cannot see someone who has limited strength putting the tray on and taking it off while seated since it is not easy to put on and take off. As an adult high chair, it does what it says on the tin. There is also a problem with the storage for the tray You store one of the tray arms into the tray holder so it is accessible when needed. There's nothing worse than a tray that rattles around, isn't secured in the hole, and drags on the ground. In my opinion, the wheels are the most important part Initially, I did not think about the fact that the back two wheels could turn 360 degrees while the front two were stationary. Even though I am not disabled, I had trouble pushing the chair on carpet. I cannot adjust the headrest because it is a joke and someone with limited strength will not be able to do It took me digging my knees into the back cushion, pulling the headrest forward, and facing the back cushion again to see if the headrest could budge. In that case, the adjustments made are minimal, and the option is superficial and not useful. The only other positive is the reclining part. Apart from the easy assembly and shipping, everything else is negative. A very easy and smooth process. In the same way, you would push your legs out to return to an upright position when you are lying on your back. However (there is A) the reclining positions were strange to me. There seemed to be too much cushioning on the seat in the recline position, as well as an excessively raised footrest. view as the daughter of someone that suffers from a serious illness, I would tell you to leave this chair as soon as you can. My Mom will get home and give her opinion after she tries it for herself - once she does I will update the review. A user is the person who uses the system. It remains to be seen, but I am nearly 100% certain we will return this. The chair was able to be tried out yesterday and today by my Mom, and she seems to like it -*Update, 12/19/2014*

Her request was granted -
As a result, we are For the following reasons, I am bumping up my rating to 3 stars instead of 1 star 1

There were numerous blankets and pillows she had to add so the chair was comfortable enough to sit on and lay down Thus, this chair is not comfortable right out of the box as the manufacturers would have us In comparison, I will not add an additional $200 in cushioning to a chair that I have already spent close to $500 on. There's no way that's possible. - Breathe. -Breathe. thing that she asked as soon as she sat in it was "Does the back come up anymore?"? As the back cushion is at an odd angle when the position is upright, I thought it looked odd. Since I mentioned this above in my original review, I know I'm not the only one who doesn't like the way the back cushion is angled. As a result, I will It is not possible to adjust the cushion any further forward than it already is. My Mom finds this chair acceptable, so I guess I should let it stay since she is the one who uses it. If this chair was for me, it would be on its way back to Amazon, but since it is for my Mom, it may be close to acceptable. As soon as I find out anything new about the chair, I'll update my review. I did not realize I was supposed to update the post on January 17, but my Mom is still using the chair and with the addition of two blankets and two pillows, the chair provides adequate comfort. When I visit, I have sat in it for extended periods of time and have found it to be quite comfortable. It looks like my mother ordered a chair cover made of memory foam, the kind that goes over the living room couch to protect it from kids, animals, and spills so that she might be able to reduce the number of blankets since getting in and out tends to be slippery. I have received a request for a cut of high density foam to help with comfort levels since the cover my Mom ordered from Surefit was not thick enough in the seat. She has asked me if I could get her a piece of the high density foam to help with comfort As a result, I'm searching for ideas to make this chair more comfortable. According to her, the size is 18x20. Therefore, this chair does not feel comfortable straight out of the box and would benefit from additional padding or the official pad to be 100% comfortable. I'd like to mention that it has been several months since it was purchased, and my mother has been sleeping on it frequently, and the padding and cushions are just as firm as they were on There is no giving or breaking in at all.

Disappointed to say the least! The box was completely ruined when it arrived, there was no packing protection, no packing slip, and I have absolutely no way to return A wrong hole was drilled for the side of the tray, that means the tray will not function

Neither of us were happy with the outcome
3/5

We found this chair to be sturdy, but it did not work for us and had some issues. First of all, it was difficult to assemble because the screw holes did not align with After talking to customer service, it was concluded that the product was defective, and it must be exchanged. When you put the bottom part on its back, you can fit the chair back into it, but it was still difficult to tighten the screws as they needed to be placed in the holes. A second complaint I must make is that when my father was seated in the chair, it was tough to transition from sitting to reclined to full reclined with the full weight of my father, who is not a very heavy person. It wasn't clear to me if this was a power chair or a manual chair, but I assumed it wouldn't be completely Furthermore, it is not totally safe, as my father fell out because of the chair. You should avoid using it if you have mobility issues. Fourth, the cushions are not comfortable. There are gaps in the cushions for the legs when in a recline position, and the table is awkward, as it is too low and cannot be used in sit up mode, and it must be taken out and put back in place each time. A cushion designed to fill the gaps did not appeal to my father, so I didn't purchase one. Fifthly, the wheels on the back of the chair do not pivot, which makes moving and positioning the chair difficult. Because I was an Amazon Prime member, it allowed me to get a refund without having to ship a thing There is still no chair that can solve all of our issues, so I am looking for another.

It's time for Pop to get a new chair
5/5

The shipment arrived on the expected delivery date. Heavy envelop tumbled up seven steps of the porch into our front door by the delivery person. I was able to assemble it quite easily. The item was ordered specifically for my father, who is in the advanced stages of Having a tray table attached to his chair keeps him seated when he tries to stand on his own when he is confused. Only one disadvantage to this chair is that while both back wheels are locked, another set of four wheels is unlocked with safety locks, so the chair can still rock back and forth. The plan is to order new wheels with locks and swap them out for the front wheels without locks in the hope that will stabilize the chair. Apart from that, the chair is a good one.

Feel at ease
5/5

Our father in law needed this chair because our recliner was very hard to get out of and this chair is very versatile and the tray allows him to do crafts, read and eat while sitting down and he can comfortably relax. If he falls asleep, the chair can easily be laid down.
