I'm not sure which one is mine because I've since upgraded to a new hospital bed. This remote, on the other hand, should work with a 5490. Mine, too, had seen better days. And it was compatible with this replacement remote. I believe you could return it in the worst-case scenario. I hope this has been of assistance. Best of luck!
Yes. The total height of the installation is 8 feet 4 inches. The remote is 5 inches long, and the connector is 2 inches long, leaving a cord length of 7 feet and 9 inches. I hope this answers your question.
I'm not familiar with that particular model, but if the bed has a 9-inch mattress, that's a good sign. It's very likely to be a pin connector. I got it for a semi-regular semi-regular semi-regular semiregular I slept in an electric bed and took a chance. Check the bed for a connection. I hope this has been of assistance.
A nine-pin "SVGA" type connector is used on this pendant. According to my internet research, your bed has a round connector. As a result, it will not work. Take a look at your connector. If there are four on the top, it is a good sign. It should work if you put a five on the bottom. If it's round, the answer is no. I hope this has been of assistance.

They aren't very long-lasting. They all fail in the same way, with the same button control, on a regular basis. The previous one was only four months long. The warning on the side is particularly disappointing: "CAUTION DO NOT ATTEMPT FIELD REPAIR, WARRANTY VOID IF SEAL IS BROKEN. " "What warranty!" I think to myself as I sit in a broken bed, trying to figure out how to make a difficult transfer. ", as well as how to respond to it. ".
If you've ever been stuck upright in your hospital bed because the bed controller malfunctioned, you know how frustrating it can be. Who has time to look for a manual crank that was left behind a year ago? br>br>Buy a backup bed controller as a favor to yourself. It's impossible to predict when you'll require it. It's also preferable to have it but not require it rather than require it but lack it. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's well worth the money.
I bought five of the black curly cord kind, and the wires always fray near the controller head at the neck after a few months. This one lasted three years before it needed to be replaced. Because of the price, I gave it four stars.
This is an excellent replacement for your broken Invacare bed control. My frayed control cable was replaced, and the overall length was increased by a foot. Simply disconnect the old one and connect the new one to the locking connector. Also, the lowest price I could find.
Because my mother's previous one had broken, I purchased this for her. The only difference is that this one lacks a back hook or clip for hanging off the bed. She will have difficulty reaching it if it falls.
It has a better fit in the plug receptacle than the previous one. I would buy it again if the need arose.
I've been using a hospital bed for almost ten years and have discovered that the control lasts about two years. I've always gotten them from a local medical supply, but they were $189 and would take ten days to arrive; this one looks and functions identically. I'll buy an extra ton just in case, and I'll never buy anything locally again. Excellent value for money.
