Two hundred and twenty pounds is my weight. The bottom of the mattress feels warm to me when I go to a semi-seated position. My new mattress is not very much better than the one There seems to be a need for support I cannot locate. The following rating has been assigned. That is a lot of weight for me to carry. I am disappointed.
Used it for a short time, and so far the foam has broken down and it's sinking down in the middle.
It was time for a new hospital mattress and I wanted a really good one, so I read all of the reviews on Amazon and chose this one because I wanted one that will last a while. One of the complaints I often read is that they arrived with damage or tears in the shipping I received my mattress today, and the box and the bag in which it was enclosed showed no signs of damage, but when I opened the bag, there was evidence of numerous small punctures on one side of it. This damage was done by the manufacturer before Amazon shipped the product, so they couldn't be aware of it. Due to the fact that I needed a mattress ASAP, I decided to keep it however, given that this seems to be a common issue, I think I will find it on a local store I have added an edit to my post. The lower level mattress of the Drive brand wore out after less than a year. I ordered this mattress to replace it. Until the intersprings got too weak to support my weight, I was fine with the old mattress. OrthoCoil mattresses are rated to handle my weight plus 75 pounds, and my OrthoCoil mattress has the highest firmness rating out of any Interspring mattress that It turns out that my friend could compress this mattress from 6" to 1" with little effort. Despite not getting any sleep on the new mattress for three nights, I switched back to my old matters. My new mattress was so weak that when I sat on it I completely sank into the bed where I was sitting on its Based on this information, I'd estimate that this ortho coil super firm mattress is less than 15% as firm as the stock Drive mattress that came with my new bed, and is therefore only suitable for very young children.
