Questions & Answers

Will this pass a drug test, and can it be hidden in my underwear?

As for the unhelpfully admonishing the person who asked, drug testing, particularly testing for THC metabolites, is a rigged game because someone could come in tripping on peyote, LSD, or mushrooms and test clean, whereas if you smoked any real quantity of the now extremely potent strains of marijuana that are legal in many states, you could test positive up to 45 days later. The detection windows for crystal meth, cocaine, heroin, MDMA, Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, and all other synthetic opioids range from one to ten days. From two days to a week, depending on the situation. My wife knows someone who was arrested after buying marijuana even though he had never tried it because of the stigma of our cruel and racist drug war. Despite this, he was forced to attend NA meetings and refer to himself as an addict of a substance he had never used because, in order to instill fear, ALL uses of ANY drug, even if only once in a lifetime, are referred to as "drug abuse." "br>br>And now for the truth: Unless you're being watched. br>br>If you're being watched, yes. That is something for which a prosthesis is available. Keep in mind that depending on who performs the test and what style it is, you'll need fresh, clean urine (which can be frozen or powdered). It must control for human urine to have a confidence interval, which means they will look for metabolites of creatine, which are responsible for the control band on dip strip assays, in addition to not having drugs in your system. And, if you have a reason to believe you *might* cheat a test, they can use microscopy and GC/MS testing to determine that your urine lacks the standard battery of proteins, epithelial cells, and other substances.

Are these currently available or are they on backorder?

They are currently available for purchase.

Throughout the day, no urine from the superpubic catheter entered the bag. I tried to rinse the bag after switching to the night bag, but it wouldn't let any water in?

There's a problem, so call the doctor.

Is the urine warm as a result of this?

Not the original warmth, but enough to keep the bag on your belly warm. And remains unnoticed for the sake of feeling

It's extremely simple to use, but make sure there are no leaks
3/5

I've been using a belly bag with a catheter that I designed myself (90 degree elbow - to "hug" the body and secure it to the bag - for nearly a decade (see photo). The bags are extremely simple to put on, use, and care for. WAY (and I mean "WAY") better than any other leg bag on the face of the planet! And for those who believe gravity only goes "down" - think again. Because of the pressure in your bladder, the belly bag fills up. NOT the law of gravity - As a result, the valve should be positioned in the direction it is. as well as the bag that encircles the "belly" - makes 100 sense to me! The catheter should be mated to the valve stem with a great deal of force to prevent leaks - which will help it stay put - Sporting activities such as running, swimming, and other activities - All of this is possible with the belly bag, including contact - and NO- NO ONE will be able to tell you're wearing it - Unless you specifically request that they do so! br>br>The ONLY reason I gave the product a "3" instead of a "5" is because of the functionality (which is a five - see below). The manufacturing quality, however, is a ONE "ONE"! ) EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE THAT I HAVE EVER WEARED, IN MY EXPERIENCE - Eventually, it escaped through either a pinhole or a hole in the ceiling. between the valve material and the bag itself, or a plastic "weld" seam along an edge seam. A 100% failure rate of 100 possible failure rate of 100 possible f br>br>I usually have three of these "on hand" (washing and drying one, storing the other, and wearing the third - a "rotation" of three days) - I get rid of all three after three months - because they ARE going to start leaking! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS! br>br>Every day, I clean the one I'm wearing (and then move on to the next of the three) - with bleach-based Clorox spray cleaner - both within and without the bag - Let it dry after that. The bacteria count is kept to a minimum as a result of these measures. The bag has a fresh, clean scent to it. br>br>Despite the "3" overall rating - This product is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ITS FUNCTION - Simply use it up to its material and manufacturing limits before discarding it before it starts to leak!.

These are excellent, but they require a better security system and a method of implementation
4/5

These are great, but they need a better securement system and a way to keep the back from irritating the skin. br>"This product has been a lifesaver for me. So much better than a typical 1000 ML leg bag with the same 1000 ML capacitybr>Gone are the days of the bag slipping down your leg or leaving marks on your straps. br>This bag needs a strap at the bottom to hold it in place as the single strap above tends to slip from the weight. br>Plus you need to find a sweet spot for the strap, too loose and it slips, too tight and it constricts your chest creating an hour-glass figurebr> Figure made of glass. br>A swivel for the re-use of this bag would be beneficial. If you don't have enough tube between the flux valve and the catheter, it will yank your urethra vertically. Finally, the twist turn valve works, but it's cumbersome and difficult to unscrew or tighten; a T tap valve at the bottom would be preferable. "br>"These two photos show the bag at full 1000 ml capacity from over night".

With an indwelling foley catheter, a belly bag is used
4/5

This is the only time I've used it in my pool. I was worried about it working with an indwelling foley because it works against gravity, but it didn't. The thing I don't like is that the back of the bag is designed to make it easy to remove and replace the belt, which means that if the belt isn't very tight around your waist and the bag fills up, it will sag and pull down off the belt in an unflattering manner. I imagine it would be better if I wore more supportive clothing and a tighter belt. I'm going to take a look at it. I'm going to go out and get a new one. What freedom and comfort I had in my pool without a leg bag, not to mention not having to look at the unsightly thing. Whoever came up with this idea deserves a lot of credit. Gravity isn't an issue because it works! Regarding the twist closure, I despise them because I've had mishaps with them on leg bags; I wrap tape around it after I've double-checked that it's securely twisted shut. That works great on the leg bag, so I'm sure it'll work here as well. However, there should be a flip or clamp on discharge outlet.

A Much Better Alternative To A Regular Leg Bag! Outside of the hospital, we don't have a lot of experience with foley catheters
5/5

My 95-year-old mother, on the other hand, The leg bags that we were initially provided were a constant problem for our year old father, who recently had to wear one for an extended period of time. The velcro and button elastics were a constant source of frustration. The leg bag's elastic straps wouldn't keep it high enough on his leg, and as it filled, the weight would pull on the catheter, causing additional issues like bleeding. The original velcro fastener had the same issue, so we came up with our own solution using some heavy-duty velcro. velcro for heavy-duty use It would securely hold the leg bag, but it would catch on his clothing, making it more difficult to empty the catheter, especially given his limited dexterity. br>br>In my search for a better option on the internet, I came across these. I bought one right away to give it a try, and I only wish I'd known about them sooner. My Dad regained his bathroom "independence" in less than a day. This Belly Bag is more comfortable to wear than leg bags and holds more fluid. It is also simple to put on and take off. In the evenings, we switch to a full catheter bag. This bag allows my Dad to go about his daily life in a much more normal manner by allowing him to use it for longer periods of time to ensure an even greater fluid capacity.

The belly bag is ideal for going out to eat or taking a road trip
5/5

Don't even think about bringing a leg bag with you. The only option is to use a belly bag. My wife, who is 64 years old, suffers from multiple sclerosis (MS). ) and required the placement of a suprapubic cath. We tried a variety of leg bags, but they all fell short. The belly bag is ideal for a night out, a road trip, or a flight. It has a convenient discharge port for draining when necessary, as well as a simple cath connection. However, it has a shelf life. I clean it with 25% vinegar water solution but after a couple of weeks the plastic begins to smell. We got a case of them (20) for a lot less than Amazon charges for them. (teleflex) Take a look around. They have a long cloth belt that ties around the waist (possibly 48" plus). It is far more comfortable for the patient than a plastic or cloth lined leg bag that sags and drops when filled with urine; forget about medicare; it is out of pocket and well worth it if you can afford it.
