I'm not sure why I got a package of valves that wasn't sterile; they were all thrown together in a plastic bag with several holes in it. They appeared to be purposeful, as if they were intended to be used to display the item. Non-profit organizations, on the other hand, are not exempt. I will never order this brand or from this supplier again, despite the fact that they appeared to be a fairly standard product that was quite functional. Each one I used had to be sterilized, which was an extra step I'd rather avoid.
However, I had expected them to be packaged separately and in a sterile manner. But it's a lot less expensive than the alternatives, and it makes my life a lot easier.
The ugo valves are depicted in the photograph on Amazon's website. The ones I got aren't the same, and using them with one hand is extremely difficult.
Fake image, fake product; for the elderly or disabled, it is impossible to open and close.
