Questions & Answers

Three height ranges are listed in the description. Can you tell me what the height range is ?

We count 8, not 3, as there are several others. An inch is the difference between 1 inch and 2 inches, and if you are 6 ft 4 in tall, choose setting # 6. This is the setting I use (I'm 6'4" tall)

Could you please tell me if there is any tray available for the ?

There are none that I've found. It would be nice to be able to,

Please tell me how much this weighs. There is a pool that I need to reach on an electric wheelchair. I maxed out. The capacity of this unit ?

The wheel weighs seven pounds, and the vehicle has wheels on it. The weight is 5 pounds.

This Walker has wheels at the front. If so, where can you find them?

In the end, I chose a car with wheels already attached to The tray that came with it also proved to be very sturdy, which was very helpful for me. A careful review and quick Q&A should be taken into account. There have been many reviews on Amazon with incorrect product information posted recently. See if Medline makes wheels for this one by searching for them online. The front heels on the walker make all the difference to my husband. Hope these tips are helpful, Treen

Selected User Reviews For Medline Bariatric Folding Walker

The construction is excellent, and it My leg condition made it impossible for me to walk on one foot for a few months
5/5

I was unable to use crutches, due to balance issues. It even felt like I was wobbly on a regular basis- I needed a wider walker, so my therapist got me one. The walker I bought when I was discharged from the hospital is now at home with me. I have found it to be effective. This is an extremely sturdy and stable table. During more than three months using it, first to transfer to and from a wheelchair, and then to get around without it, I didn't fall a single time.

A lightweight but sturdy construction
5/5

We have uncovered the physical properties of the stone. It is strong, durable, and Our father bought this after finding out the physical therapist used it and we found it was the product he used. He needed it at the right time. I got him a walking support since he is about 230 pounds and needed it. It works If you have carpets, you may also want to consider getting the ski gliders that go on the back support legs, these People often put tennis balls on the bottom of carpets, which tend to cause more friction and would be difficult to move. As a result, 'ski gliders' will be necessary for back leg support in carpeted areas, and especially in areas with a high pile. of this walker is good, it is wide enough for a man over 200 pounds. It is also a good quality walker. Comes in an easy and quick 'almost ready' to go bag that folds for easy transportation. It's much less expensive and worth it than buying in a local store.

Product works great for me
5/5

I am not exceptionally heavy, but I have broad shoulders and a wide hips, so my body type is 'normal'. I was prescribed an extra-rugby leg brace by my physical therapist after my hip replacement surgery A wide walker like this is quite useful, and I'm happy I got A strong, stable, light, and well-balanced platform I made it. For practical purposes, don't use gym balls for the back legs and get two pairs of glides instead There are two kinds of furniture pads one smooth for outdoors, affixed to furniture pads for smooth surfaces, and one with felt for carpets, etc. These are the ones I've found to be the most effective A set of smooth and felted Walker Glide Skis, model 40027GR, that are easy to swap out. It is also invaluable to have a basket attachment. chose to use the Medline Walker Basket for my 2 Button Walker and was pleased with the quality.

WHEEL WEIGHTS 42 lbs

AND CAN FIT THROUGH A STANDARD 30" INTERIOR DOOR WITH A SMALL MOTION TO THE DOOR FRAME. The walker is very strong and rolls very well within the support structure if you attach the plastic sliders on the rear. The door frame can be modified in two small ways in order to allow the door to glide easily through a standard 30" wide interior house door. Each of the 1" wide segments of 'STOP TRIM' on both sides of the door frame were cut with a saw to rid it of its bottom 12" of protection. Simple staples secure them and allow them to be easily removed. In order to match the rest of the door, I then sanded and repainted the original door frame. By making that modification, we were able to open up the bottom 12" of the door frame, and the walker took part in the opening without hitting anything on the door frame. In the future, when the walker is no longer needed, two new 'STOP TRIM' pieces can be added to the door frame to restore it to There was also a second modification that was required, at least in my case. The EXPANDABLE DOOR HINGES that I installed allowed the door itself to line up flush with the door frame on the hinge side, when the door is fully open. My installation was impossible to achieve with a door that could be opened evenly in line with the 30 inch desired width without the additional 2 inches of clearance. In that case, a larger patient could use this very stable and secure walker the same way as a smaller one. It will pass through a 30" wide door with just a small modification of its door frame, and much larger ones without one at all. We do not recommend you give up the quality and strength of this walker to be able to easily fit through a standard 30" door when you can modify the door frame itself, as well as install new expandable door hinges, so that the walker can easily fit through.

I am so glad I found this! Having undergone surgery on my foot, I could no longer bear weight on my foot, thus I had to purchase this Bariatric Walker
5/5

It was a wonderful walker to use because it helped me stay stable on my left foot and it was great for walking around my apartment with my friends The injury kept me from walking for a week and a half. The walker is great for anyone who has had any kind of foot surgery, leg surgery, ankle surgery, etc. You won't regret your purchase. Though I have now learned how to walk on my own, I will keep my walker because, you never know what can occur, I may need it again in the future. I never felt like I was going to fall while using this walker, which is so stable and strong. You made a wonderful walker for me, and I greatly appreciate your efforts.
I really like how it looks! The following is a quotation from Susan.

It is a little narrow for someone with a large frame
4/5

I am seeing this listed as a bariatric walker - it looks very powerful My range is up there so I'll need a large walking device. It is possible to slide and roll, stick back, roll front, slide front stick back, or use all four sticks simultaneously. There are times when you need to move sideways in a narrow space. In order to do that, you have to balance this walker on one foot. This thing is small at the top, so it will struggle to move in a sideways direction.

If you never need to go sideways, or if you are small, this walker is a great choice for you.

Buying is not a good idea

There was a problem with the leg, which prevented the wheel from turning. There is no return policy with them.
