Questions & Answers
With the stick is a brass handle. Alternative handles are available for purchase.
Sorry, it's not easy, there are threaded brass inserts where the stick joins and a brass bottom cap at the top. Furthermore, because the entire stick is tapered from top to bottom, any cut will stand out like a sore thumb.
This walking stick is quite lovely. I bought it for a theatrical production and was very pleased with the quality and appearance. It's sturdy enough for someone who needs a little extra support in their walk, but it's more of a fashion statement. And it's a very nice accessory.
Cain's head was cut down to a nice size.

So, let's take a look at the advantages. The head appears to be solid metal (although I'm not sure if it's entirely brass or if it's just a cheap metal with a brass coating). As a result, it has heft and a solid feel to it. The screw connecting the two halves is centered and has a clean line; if the grain pattern on the two halves had been assembled with a little more care, they would have nearly matched. It appears to be solid, but only time will tell if this is the case. Thankfully, this is only being used as a prop, so it won't be a big deal if it breaks. Now for the cons. br>br> br>br>For starters, the cane came with a rubber tip, similar to what acrutch has, rather than the brass ferrule with the rubber point shown in the listing. br>So if you need that bit for the look you're going for, as I did, that's a problem. Second, there's the connection between the cane's top and the brass head - Please take a look at the photos I've attached. The ferrule's turned-down section isn't centered. As a result, the head is off center, leaving a rough spot of wood exposed, which could injure the person using the cane, even if it's only as a prop.
First and foremost, The Walking Stick is stunning. Spades of the same color as the handle are adorning it. It comes in three pieces, which you simply screw together like a pool cue. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best handcrafted items I've ever owned. I have a walking stick that is similar in appearance to this one, but it is not as sturdy. It doesn't matter if it's for a special occasion or for someone who is disabled, like myself. It can be used as a cane. It is both therapeutic and pleasing to the eye. It has brought me a lot of compliments. This product comes highly recommended by me, gentlemen!.
It does, however, have a solid and well-made feel to it. The entire cane is about 38" tall (from the rubber tip at the bottom to the handle).
This cane is perfect for me. It arrived in three pieces, exactly as shown on the website (in three pieces: The handle, top portion, and lower portion) were all in perfect condition and had no flaws or issues; the handle was made of solid metal and was exactly as advertised. Solid metal collars and rings (at both the top and bottom of the cane) matched the tone and color of the handle perfectly. All of the threads are strong and tight, and all of the joints are perfectly aligned. None of the threads came loose after it was tightly assembled, resulting in a very sturdy cane. My exact weight was 36 pounds. From the bottom of the rubber tip to the top of the handle, it's 5 inches tall. br>br>I've heard that the rubber tip wears out quickly, which makes sense given how small it is, but the rubber pieces don't seem to be too difficult to replace. If you plan to use it on a regular basis, I'd suggest replacing the rubber cane tip with a more durable one that will also protect the metal ring at the base. However, if you only plan to use it once in a while, such as for a costume or a prop, the current tip will suffice. br>br>Shipping was extremely quick; it arrived in the United States in just under two weeks, well ahead of schedule. In general, I'm pleased with the outcome.
a lovely conclusion - material of high quality - consists of four screws pieces of a puzzle The head is one piece, and the shaft of the cane is made up of three pieces that must be screwed together. I'm guessing it's designed to make shipping easier. It did, however, look good once it was put together. br>Because of the screw-together design, I wouldn't expect it to last as long as a real support cane supporting body weight - at least not for the time being - This isn't the case for all units. Some may be perfectly balanced and free of shearing strain, but I seriously doubt it.
I bought this as part of an adult New Year's Eve outfit and was expecting holloween quality, but it's nice enough to wear on stage or for personal use. Nice, sturdy materials, and quality workmanship, as shown. I would purchase it again. It can be used on hardwood or tile floors thanks to the rubber tab at the end.
It has the potential to be hazardous. For my purposes (onstage as Lady Tremaine), this is a nice-looking cane. I was having trouble balancing onstage due to an ankle injury. This appeared to be a better fit for the character than Kaiser's cane. The cane was delivered in two pieces that had to be joined with a screw. This, however, was not a safe option. I had to use thread glue to keep it together as it became looser. The cane tip also wore out after a week, causing me to fall onstage during a snowstorm when the metal tip slid across the stage.
The head's detailing is exquisite, and it has a good weight to it. The only flaw is that the cane is made up of two pieces that are screwed together in the middle, leaving a small gap. However, it is barely discernible. br>br>As stated in the warning, I would not recommend using this as a cane for medical purposes; it is primarily for display and would most likely not support someone's full weight.
