Yes, it's made of wood. I recommend this cane 100% because I like these canes. The salesperson is extremely pleasant and accommodating. Three of these canes are currently in my possession. The craftsmanship and quality are outstanding. Because the handles are interchangeable, you can also contact the dealer via email to purchase just the handles.
They'll cut it to the length you specify.
When you're wearing shoes, you can measure the distance between your hand and the ground. The top of your cane should line up with the crease in your wrist when your arm is hanging straight down at your side; most canes are made to 36" length; if you want to buy the fancy cane shown in the picture, it is normally 36" length, but you can contact the seller and arrange for longer or shorter canes.
Yes, we can make this cane with a smaller handle as a custom order, but please keep in mind that custom orders can take up to a month to arrive. If you'd like to place a custom order, please get in touch with me.

After a few weeks of use (following a hip replacement), the damn thing broke while I was on a business trip overseas. What I thought was a high-quality cane turned out to be shoddily constructed on the inside, with a $. While attempting to use the screw, it completely broke off. Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Junk, Jun.
The eagle sculpture is quite lovely - It feels like a thicker pewter, but I'm not familiar with metals. The tip of the cane's road end is particularly nice - Add-on protectors/shoes aren't necessary. NOTE: I believe they measure before adding the tip, so order it 1/2 inch to an inch shorter. Oh - It's a Ukrainian product. If you collect stamps, this is a great tool to have. Aside from that, I suppose it's just a fun fact. This is an excellent technique for putting one foot in front of the other.
Because I adored my first cane, I decided to buy another one from Asterom Canes. Asterom Canes' Alex is an absolute pleasure to work with. The canes are all made by hand and are extremely durable. Asterom gives me a lot of compliments on both of my canes. My purchases have made me extremely happy. I first purchased the wolf, and now I have purchased the eagle. Canes are both lovely. At some point, I'd like to buy a third one. The canes themselves have a lovely wood grain. I can't speak highly enough of the product and the company.
After rupturing my Achilles' tendon, I needed to use a cane to get around. The Eagle Cane was chosen for its strength, handle design, and overall elegance. Despite the fact that it was shipped from another country, it arrived on time and in excellent condition. The cane has literally assisted me in regaining my footing, and I've received numerous compliments on how elegant it is. Although I no longer require the use of a cane to walk, I am confident that it will return to my possession as I grow older. I'm excited to put it to use. It's a piece of art that will be passed down through the generations.
It's done in such a lovely way. This cane has an Eagle tip, which I purchased. It was delivered on time and in good condition. Each item was individually wrapped and simple to assemble. My Dad says the cane's handle fits perfectly in the palm of his hand and is very comfortable to hold. br>It's a little long for him (he's 5'9"), but it appears that it could be cut down without causing any harm. He is completely enamored with his cane. br>The only thing I wish this cane had was a tapered bottom to make it more "flexible. " For added safety and support, a "tip foot" could be placed on it, but don't let that deter you from purchasing this cane. My Dad adores it and feels "dressed" when he uses it because it is strong, safe, and truly beautiful. He's ecstatic about the ability to swap out the decorative tips.
During the first few months, I had to fix it. Then, after more than a year, it broke to the point where it could no longer be repaired. The small tip looks nice, but it needs to be replaced more frequently and is inconvenient to replace due to its size and the fact that it fits inside rather than over the end. The Eagle head is beautiful, but keep in mind that if the beak side falls on the floor, it can damage the flooring or tile, which can be costly.
This one, however, has failed me after only a few months of use in between the use of two other canes. My back is injured, and I have two bad hips. Thank goodness I was only going down three short steps in the garage when I heard and felt a strange sound and found the cane cracked beneath the eagle. I was fortunate that I was also relying on the banister, or I would have fallen and possibly suffered serious injuries for the money I paid.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail are far superior to anything else I've seen in many years. You will fall in love with this cane the moment you hold it in your hands. This cane's finish is incredibly pleasant to the touch.
