On the bottom of the one I bought are four rubber suction cups. It's convenient that it's self-contained.
It's a very light cane. It doesn't bother me because I am an elderly little old lady. It allowed me to reclaim my independence.
Replacements are not included, but an Amazon replacement kit is available. I ordered the replacement kit after one of the four stoppers on my cane popped off. It was a simple procedure to correct.

My chronic pain has recently spread from my neck and shoulders to other joints in my body, and I'm 21 years old. I have hEDS or HSD, and I believe I have it. I'd wake up in the morning with excruciating pain in at least one of my knees. It got to the point where I couldn't walk for more than 15 minutes in a grocery store without getting hurt. I was truly saved by this cane. It supports my weight (I'm 308 pounds) and allows me to walk pain-free. Although the handle is a little stiff, my partner crocheted a soft yarn handle for me, which was the perfect solution. It's extremely convenient, and I strongly advise anyone suffering from chronic pain to use it.
It's perfect, and it's ready to use right out of the box! I live on a farm, so I needed a cane that could handle any terrain. This satisfies my requirement to a tee! In addition, I was able to secure my hand sanitizer. br>Because I enjoy sparkle, I added a little bling. The color combination is stunning. It was impossible for me to accept a plain black. Big Alex let you pick from a variety of colors.
It has a nice feel to it when you use it, but the base is removable! I can reinstall it, but it isn't secure. It irritates me and makes me feel insecure when I walk. What if something goes wrong while I'm walking down a hill?.
The first time I used it, one of the suction cup things on the bottom fell off while I was using it, and I'm not sure when or how it got lost (possibly while folding it up or holding it while in a wheelchair).
Although it appears to be attractive, it does not give the impression of being stable. Because the joints don't fit snugly, I wrapped the shaft in electrical tape before assembling it, and it now feels more secure.
I liked this cane a lot until the handle broke off while I was using it. I wasn't seriously injured, and I'm not a fan of frivolous lawsuits, but this isn't a safe situation.
I made a mistake by purchasing a second one; first, the bottom cups fall off, almost causing me to fall, which would be dangerous given my two broken hips. They should design it so that they do not fall out! That's exactly what happened to me with the first one! Then I got the second one, which had a bow on it that wasn't straight, was weak, and came apart too easily. When you're in the hospital, you need something to help you walk, and all I need it for is to get to my wheelchair and the toilet, which are only a few feet away. I also tried to find someone with whom I could speak, but I was unsuccessful.
This item is extremely durable. The only problem is that in order for it to stand on its own, it must be perfectly positioned.
