It is my pleasure to introduce you to Beyond Med Shop as my name is Jasmine. The height of this raised toilet seat is about 16 inches, so it will fit most toilets with the same size. The elongated toilet is 18" long and measures 5" tall. The number five. It is my hope that this is helpful. In case you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
As it states in the PRODUCT INFORMATION SECTION, this product is meant to be used ON TOP OF YOUR EXISTING TOILETSEAT! Knowing that YOU MUST APPLY EQUAL PRESSURE IS ALL YOU NEED to know. If not, it will tip over in the direction where the most pressure is applied. The locking mechanism is an important component to the lock. A LOT LESS LOCKING IS NECESSARY!
It is true.
My guess is no. Initially, it worked for the more rounded bowl downstairs, which measures 13 1/2" by 11 1/2", but was unable to stay in place when it rested on the elongated bowl upstairs, which measures 15" by 10 1/2".

I'd buy it again if I had to. When I travel, I use it. It takes up a little more room in my suitcase, but I couldn't use the toilet without it. a small chair, you have to sit flat on it I am 5'9" and weigh 195 pounds. There must be some reason why I cannot find one with a larger hole, but this one fits smaller and larger bowls and I have used it both in Europe and the Far East.
This is a great product. My wife has leg and knee pain and I researched different types of devices I could use to alleviate the pain. Since I was worried that too much pressure could dislodge the toilet and force the plumber to fix it, I discounted the types that were attached to their toilets. The bolts that had attached handles were easy to use. It took me less than 10 minutes to assemble it. I'm very pleased with this product. It's sturdy and works well. The purchase was definitely worth it. Currently, we are ordering a second device.
I am a retired physical therapist who has bi-lateral hip replacements in addition to having mobility problems due to age. The Vaunn raised toilet seat may be very helpful to me. There is no reason to complain about the appearance and price. Although it attaches easily, it is impossible to sit on the seat comfortably. I cannot use it because it is ergonomically inadequate and poorly designed and has caused me increased pain in my thigh and low back. It may be helpful for the manufacturers and sellers to design a seat that mimics those on any commercially available product in order to make many customers' lives easier. A high priority is at stake here.
The fault does not lie with the product. There's nothing worse than having an oversize a$$! It only took seconds to install the seat and it is solid. The handles did not leave enough room for her to, uh, put her hand inside. We'll just say "use the Charmin. ". She tried using it a couple of times with the handles removed, but the collars got caught in her hair, so it is in the garage now. Rather than putting her in the garage, I would put her out of the way. In any case, it would be great if the handles could be.
In my experience, separate side rails bolted to the back of the toilet provided the greatest stability and assurance for my mother.
The problem with this item is that, in order to properly install it, the inner lip of the back inner rim (the directions use both words) should not exceed one inch. The depth of this mattress is 75 inches. In my house, all toilets have rear inner lip/rim depths that are around half an inch deeper than average. At least in the United States, I should think this applies pretty much universally. In step 3, there is a step where you are instructed to secure the flange upon the rim of the toilet bowl, but this cannot be done due to the problem described. As you progress through Step 3, you will arrive at a crossroads This is a section drawing showing the hook that is welded As you can see in the picture, the depth of that lip is labeled as 1- There is a 1/4 inch lip on the toilet. That's why you should take that measurement first It is crucial information that is not included in the It is possible I have a special toilet with unusually deep lips, but I am highly doubtful.
I have asked a few people to measure their existing seats, and they seem to match mine. Without adding the flange under the lip, no matter how tight you turn the knob at the front end, the raised seat will not secure correctly as it is A large part of why I chose this seat was its ease of setup and simple design. As it's so simple, I would assume that most people will just buy it, install it on the toilet, tighten its front knob, and assume they are done, without even having read It's possible that some of those people will use it without realizing it's set incorrectly. The rear lip of their toilet may not be 1 inch long, but it will do, unless the bottom lip They'll have to take a big risk if they install it at 75 inches. It's important to add that the note in red text in Step 5 does not display correctly. There is a note that reads, Located against the inner rim of the bowl of the raised toilet, it should fit flat against the toilet lip and be ready for use when it reaches the lip of the toilet. The rear flange doesn't need to be securely fastened, so you can kind of do this without it. This means that the user is in a precarious position as long as the flange is not secured. If someone was going to suggest I install after removing the seat and lid, I would like to know in advance. The answer is yes. No, I assure you, the issue is not that. On a side note, I should mention that the last bullet point in the product description provides instructions not to install the product on the To install it on the toilet seat, you should screw it into place at the top. There has been a total contradiction between those instructions and the received ones, as the instructions specify that the seat and lid should be up (or removed, For anyone who may think the information on Amazon is the one that is accurate, not the instructions, it is So that I could be sure, I looked into all the options.
The installation process is very straightforward, and the program runs very smoothly. Taking it off and putting it back on is easy. Thanks to the handle, it makes it easy for you to stand up and sit down. I highly recommend this product. It's a beautiful product from the rear end as well as comfortable on the front. There's another one I got for my It is amazing how much I love it.
The timing of this visit is perfect as my mom is recovering from surgery at my place. It was our choice to remove the original seat (to make the new one more level) and it has been snugly anchored without a scratch. There is also this This unit was really easy to adjust to her needs due to the type surgery she had. She really likes that the guide handles are only on one side, and that is what she needs. I NEED HELP BIG TIME!.
