Can this be used as a shower floor, and if so, will it need to be sealed off in some way?

The mat does not need to be sealed. Thank you. It's possible to deepen the color with teak oil if the color starts to fade over time.

Could you please tell me if this is a roll-up mat? Is it solid so that you can stand on its side and it will not fall over? Thanks so much! ?

There are no folds in this mat since it is solid. That's why we like it so much. The folding tables are available in a variety of sizes, so make sure to determine exactly how big you need it to be.

It is very sturdy. The product was delivered in a short period of time. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it. The surface had to be cut down to fit a 30 x 27 space and it was very easy to modify.

I really like the design of this mat. During the winter months, the white floor pan in my shower needed to be covered. I was able to save a great deal of money compared to remodeling costs because of this mat.

In spite of spending a lot of money on a frameless shower, it did not fit the bill for a truly luxurious experience. Taking a shower on the teak mat is a pleasure, as it fits in my existing walk-in shower, looks great, and feels great.
