The bolts, if I recall correctly, were long & thick In addition, there are the wing nuts.
My bolts are all long, so I don't need the short ones. There is plenty of room for this toilet seat in the closet and it's far less expensive than buying a new one!
They took care of it right away even though there were missing bolts in the kit. I am so happy that my husband likes the elevated seat so much. His problem with his knees was made even worse by his height, so this workstation has been a great help to him.
Bolts and nuts are made of plastic, so I would think they could go through. In spite of this, a year after we began using it, there were no problems. I can imagine this happening if a user is extremely large, so he or she flops down to use it instead of sitting. You can hand tighten the bolts at any time, and if you are concerned that it might come loose when cleaning, I would recommend doing it every time.

Using a piece of white PVC sheeting (available at Home Depot, comes in sheets of 4 feet by 8 feet, so not a household item), I cut and attached it inside the rim of the riser with 4 pop rivets and white marine epoxy (to approximate the curve). In this way, the problem was completely solved It allowed him to stop having to clean his toilet after every visit, which made his health aides very happy. Still, Ableware should fix this product, doesn't it? It is not common to find a family member willing to put in hours and expenses to make a product for a disabled relative.
That was the main reason I ordered it. There is a loop inside of the toilet seat that hangs down. It was not in what I received. As for the replacement, it did not contain it as well. The photos seem to have not been updated since Ableware switched over to this new design. If you Google MABIS Hinged Elevated Toilet Seat Riser (see Google image), you can describe the product as being the exact same as the cushioned seat. According to Ableware, MABIS is also made by them. If you are considering buying this seat because of the lip, DO NOT purchase! There is no longer a feature for that. Here are two photos, the first is what I expected and the second is what I actually got. It seems like a good idea to have the groove in the bottom of the movie, but it totally fails.
It is not quite as long as an elongated toilet, but it may be the most convenient since the front drip edge protrudes about an inch or so from the front of the bowl, so drips fall into the bowl rather than running to the top of the bowl. So there is no need to wash the top of the bowl. It is easy to clean the hinge because of its good performance. It allows a small amount of movement, but not too much, due to slotted mounting holes. Compared to other products sold on Amazon, this one is superior. Most seats from other toilet seat manufacturers get dented from the rubber feet, causing puddle spots. The Abelware seat, however, does not seem to be dented at all.
It is extremely difficult for my husband, who is 6'2", to sit and stand even from a seat that is at "comfort height. " I was amazed at how easy it was to install this seat. The process of removing the existing seat, replacing it with this one, and then replacing the original one took me less than five minutes. It is very convenient that this seat has an extendable hinge and that I do not have to take it apart like we did with the previous elevated seats we bought. The plus side is that it is almost imperceptible. In addition to the right height, the hinged feature allows for quick and easy cleaning. The downsides are now in order. The installation process was hard since I am not handy. I actually had to hire someone to drill a new hole in I have a newer model toilet that features a different design than the one on an old toilet. I was told it would be fine with an older toilet, but mine is a bit different. However, I do not have an expensive toilet - it is just an ordinary model and brand. It is also true that urine stains often stick to clothing. As of yet, I haven't found a way to go about getting them off, even with a substance made just for this I find it difficult to imagine that this product would be produced with such a problem which needed to be anticipated. My letter to the manufacturer includes a request for help regarding this issue since it's obvious there must be a solution.

There were no nuts to go along with the steel bolts in this On the steel bolts, I tried tightening the original plastic nuts, but I had trouble achieving a proper fit and the plastic nuts ended up tearing. In my garage, I found some nuts that were perfect to fit the steel bolts, so I was able to securely tighten them. Are steel nuts included in the package at an additional cost?
