This is the best; it outperforms the two most expensive brands. Both of which I used to own and which have since broken and been replaced by this one. I purchased three of these for roughly the same price as one of the more expensive ones - One for each bathroom, plus a third to carry in my rollator. Wraping a bunch of toilet paper around your spread fingers, then around the end piece, with the flat piece's ends inserted into the holder, is the best method. Wrap it around the top and tuck the ends into the bottom of the holder to wipe poop from the front. Or, for pee wiping from the front, wrap it around the bottom of the holder with the ends inserted on the top (turn it upside down for this, as you always want the inserted ends to be clean for removal from the holder). ) The instructions suggest bundling the toilet paper, but this only makes a mess. There are five of them in my collection! One for my downstairs bathroom, one for my upstairs bathroom, one for the shower, one for work, and one for my car! If you don't wad the paper as shown in the advertisement, it will work best. 4 sheets are used by me. I fold the paper in half, then in half again. Place the fold inside the product and secure it with a clamp. Then fold the toilet paper loosely over the sides and use it. Then, once the clamp is released, tap on the toilet seat until the paper falls into the toilet. No mess - I also use this method with baby wipes after using toilet paper, but instead of throwing them away in the toilet, I fold the sides back up and wad them inside a tissue before discarding. And I've never had anything on my hands or on the product. It works flawlessly! I also use a washrag in the shower, but that unit stays in the shower because it isn't waterproof and will drip water. I'm so happy I found this product because it's given me back my independence after breaking both of my arms! I start with my gripper pointed up and work my way back between my legs, as this is the most comfortable and convenient position for me. br>br>Works a lot better than the Bottom Buddy (at least for me). I'm going to buy another one so I can have one at home and one at work! I recently broke both arms and am recovering, but I'm still unable to properly reach my parts. This has a significant impact! Baby wipes are my preferred method, and they fit perfectly around this. I'm very happy with it, and I strongly suggest it!.

Despite the fact that I am only in my early 60s, arthritis and back problems have plagued my health, limiting my range of motion and making it increasingly difficult for me to do what used to be one of the most basic daily activities—going to the bathroom. My wife felt sorry for me and decided to look into what bathroom aids were available to assist with toilet paper usage. She decided on the Juvo after reading reviews and looking at product descriptions. She ordered the version with the holder. This version is highly recommended because it simplifies storage and access. br>br>Prior to using this product, I dreaded the pain I felt every time I had to clean up—to the point where I was depressed every time I had to do so. Having the Juvo and using it has made a huge difference in my life. br>br>My only quibble with the accompanying instructions is that they suggest "balling up your TP. " When I first tried using it, I followed their advice and was on the verge of giving up and discarding it. However, after some thought, I discovered a far more effective and cost-effective solution: br> • Spool out about one-third of a pound of yarn. and-a- the distance between the dispenser and the floor divided by half br> • Fold that length in half to double it upbr> • Fold it in thirdsbr> • Lay it length-wise on a flat surface. wise between the crevices in the holder with the fold at the topbr> (it should cover the entire clip and the part that meets the handle)br>br>When refolded two more times—once after each use with the fold always at the top—that one length usually yields three times the usage before putting in a new one. This seemed like a more practical solution than simply balling it up for one swipe, which would have required a lot more TP. The fold, double layer method not only provides better overall coverage, but it also protects the Juvo, resulting in significantly less cleanup on the aid itself. I should also mention that switching to a Toilet Aid necessitates purchasing the strongest bathroom tissue you can find—two-ply. ply at the very least, but three-fold is preferable. ply is the best option. Yes, it is more expensive, but being able to reduce your daily frustration and hassle to a minimum is well worth the extra few dollars. br>br>Some people are apprehensive about wiping their hands completely clean. Different foods have different levels of solidity in the digestive tract, so no matter how careful one is, there will always be times when things go wrong. Anyone who has had to change a baby on a regular basis knows how quickly the cleanup process can devolve—and using a helper is no exception. However, I found the Juvo to be a fantastically effective and well-designed device in general. I highly recommend this well-designed and well-made product, which is still working well after eight months of use.
