If you need to keep an eye on your temperature at home, this thermometer is ideal. The readings are quick and precise. Despite the fact that it is quite costly, I believe it is well worth it.

It's dead on. In the same way that mercury thermometers were used in the past. Where the rule was to keep it under the armpit (which is how I prefer to do it) for The time limit is five minutes. The normal mode of operation, as is the case here, attempts to approximate the temperature in 10-degree increments. Depending on how quickly the temperature rises, it could take up to 15 seconds. It's similar to a cheap thermometer from the drugstore, but it's a little more accurate. However, you can put it in monitor mode and watch as the temperature gradually stabilizes over the course of 5 minutes to an extremely accurate value. In three tries, the difference between normal and monitor mode was as low as 0. 0C to 0. 3 degrees Celsius (as is customary, this is lower than the actual/monitored temperature). Would be close enough for most applications, but you never know when or by how much a small CPU will misjudge the temperature rise curve.
