Questions & Answers
To change from C to F, hold the on button down, but it's more difficult to do than other switches I've used, and it only works when it's turned on. I would not suggest it. I believe that the more time it spends in there, the more accurate the readings become, but you can leave the quick one in there for a few seconds longer.

It takes a long time to measure, and even when it does, the accuracy is low. This thermometer takes more than a minute to take a reading and beeps when it "works. " But, in most cases, it does not work and, even after several minutes, it is never completed. br>br>And even when it "works" (the quotation marks are required), the reading is several degrees (F) off (low). br>br>It appears that the working part of this thermometer is similar to that of other models on the market - This failure mode has also been observed in other low-cost oral thermometers.
Despite the instructions, I can't get it to change from C to F. This is a waste of money and a piece of junk, and I'm sorry I purchased it. I'm not sure they expect me to return this piece of garbage. For such a small sum and a completely useless product, there should be an immediate refund. I've gotten instant refunds from Amazon before without having to return an item, and I believe they should do the same here. It's not going to change from C to F in any way. What a dreadful piece of merchandise.
More detail is required in the instructions. Quick read isn't described in any detail. On YouTube, I figured out how to switch from F to C. The tone takes a minute to come on, but the readout is relatively quick. For an American audience, it needs better instructions.
I expected the thermometer to be simple to use, but when I took it out of the package and turned it on, the battery appeared to be dead, and it did not work at all. It was both cheap and disappointing.
It gives me temperatures of 93, 96, and so on, so it's possible I had a fever when it read 97 or 98. I'm starting to feel better. I was sick at the time the return window closed, which was unfortunate.
Buying a new thermometer was less expensive than replacing the batteries in my old one. The accuracy is about 20 degrees off, but it's always 20 degrees off, regardless of whether my body temperature rises or falls, so I can account for it. It's a long process. And the beeps when it's finished aren't too loud.
The display on this product, which I purchased in June, was extremely difficult to read. It was finally turned off in August. For the next two months, it was a complete waste of money.
It is impossible to switch from C to F! When it's finished, there'll be no beep. Junk. Recommend against it. br>br>I'm supposed to package it up and mail it to UPS if I want a refund? It's hilarious.
