it is possible to return it It's almost as if Amazon is aware that it's faulty, because I can't get it to register me at a price lower than 99. 3, it can be difficult to read me at all on occasion. I instantly become 98 when I enter any clinic. I mistook myself for a fever for an entire week, which is a big deal in the COVID world when it comes to planning events.

The battery compartment is held together by the flimsiest, softest metal screw that requires a screwdriver, but it still rounds out and sticks. The unit can only do one of two things after prying the compartment open to at least try the damn thing: "Err" stands for "too far away," and no other distance is ever displayed. Don't squander your money; instead, invest in a FLIR or a mercury thermometer.

It's not worth the trouble

Getting a reading is not simple. It's debatable whether or not the information is correct. It also stopped working after about five months. Welch Allyn did a disservice to their brand with this product.
