It's easy to assemble, accurate, looks good and is much better than electronic scales, which seem to have fixed accuracy every time they're used. The height rod is not easily accessible - I wish it was Amazon does not seem to carry that accessory. It can be purchased on eBay or the Seca website. It can be "zeroed out" simply by turning a screw. It has positive weight balance block settings and a super fast display. In most respects, both scales were very accurate, but I still prefer the Seca since it does not fluctuate when I weigh myself a short time later like the Taylor scale.
