It is absolutely the worst scale I have ever seen, and the customer service is just as horrible as the product. It is not a good scale to purchase. I weighed myself and my husband despite being 10 pounds heavier, and it was impossible to calibrate. The product was sent back and I still was not able to receive my refund in full even after being authorized.

It was intended to be used in a physician's office to weigh patients who are trying to lose weight. Immediately after being installed, the scale did not perform well. It would have to be reset to zero every single time, and it would not weigh items or patients in the same amount twice. In an attempt to return the scale, we discovered that it would have cost almost as much to return as it did to buy it, and the retailer would not refund our purchase they would simply send us a new one. I have used Amazon a few times but this was the worst purchase we ever made with a company.

The price is a bit high, but I consider the purchase to be priceless. I'd say the doctor was right on the money. The floor scale on my other floor left me discouraged. Despite trying for two to three weeks to lose weight, I did not see any results, and the doctor's scale always said I weighed more than I actually did. Every two to three days, I can weigh myself and see how much weight I have lost. As a result, I have lost 24 pounds thus far and I'm continuing to do so. My goal is to make progress, not to wait for others to do so.

Scales like this work well, and I recommend them to others. The disadvantages are The following three difficulties occurred to me (2) the manual is printed so small that I had to do an enlargement xerox copy to be able (1) The scale comes with a "support" telephone number decal, but no one responds to calls left on the leave a message line. (1) The AC Adapter wasn't included with the scale until I purchased it. When I found out that I would have to take the scale apart to install it, I immediately regretted my purchase. There are two people who need to do that, and it is not an easy task.

This item is still in use every day. As a result of the scale being located in a wet environment, my main concern is that it is sensitive to moisture. The model looks like it had some thought put into it. It looks like it will stand up to a lot of use in a locker room. Considering the long term useability of aluminum, plastic, and water shedding design, these features are evident. While I am crossing my fingers, I am confident that these two scales will be able to go the distance. If the date on durability does not change substantially in the next few months, I'll update it.
