The first time we used it, we were very satisfied. Despite being able to step fairly high, my husband must weigh himself under the kitchen sink in order to be stable enough to step very high. 22 years ago, he was struck by a stroke, lost the use of one arm, and has a very weak leg, so he is at risk of falling. Our goal is to adjust his water pills to counter water weight gain in one or two weeks by measuring his weight every day. He was being weighed every day, and we thought it was all As a result of that, I weighed fully dressed with shoes one day, expecting it to be higher. Our other scale had a weight difference of about 10 lbs. Despite my clothes not being heavy at all, I stepped on it again and now it has decreased by 5 pounds. Then I found that I could just step on and off, back on and get a different weight each time. One day, my husband would weigh over 5 lbs, the next day he would weigh just 5 pounds. To watch our weight gain in a day, we use a scale where we monitor 3 pounds per day. We are not sure if that is the right scale for the job. There is no guarantee that it will work.
