It is very well designed, is very well built, and is very easy to set up (the directions are written well). It is very stable as well. Although I have a severe problem with my sense of balance, the wide platform allows me to feel secure while stepping on and off This is out of this world.

I have found the perfect solution! A bath scale with a large dial was purchased after many weeks of searching for an elderly lady with macular degeneration who couldn't tell the difference between a full scale and a regular one

Since her doctor had warned her that she was at risk for a number of health problems, she was encouraged to monitor her weight daily. Having the "readout" mounted at eye level on the bathroom wall, as well as the "lock" button allowed her to get off the scale without losing weight until she had a chance to get into it later, was certainly appealing. All of her friends have seen it and everyone in her house has seen it, too! I love this product. Thanks a lot.
