Besides that, it appears to be accurate, however difficult to calibrate with our doctor's scale, as it would be in any home scale. The purchase, as a whole, was a good decision for us. It had been our desire for a very long time to have a "doctor's" scale, and this one was highly rated and in a range that we felt was not too expensive. It is not lying when it says I'm somewhat disappointed. Assembly is quick and easy. This is an extremely honest and accurate account. This product is to be highly recommended.
Although I had a bit of a brain cramp at first, I eventually got it out. Funny, I didn't get why the big slab of sliding weight needed to go to the far right at first, but I did get it by golly. It is a very nice scale and I hope to have it for a long time. Although there is one criticism, I wish the platform was as wide as it is deep. However, strong construction is a positive point of the platform.
You have to cram the bottom on yourself, so it's not easy. So far I like the scales because they are pretty straight forward and they are good value for the price.
