You need to turn it It is weighted. Not being a mechanical engineer is a disadvantage for me. Having looked at the manual I still have not managed to get on the scale and do not know if I have to calibrate it or not. We're going to try again this weekend regardless of how beautiful the scale is, if I cannot stand I cannot stand on a regular scale.

As far as the device goes, we got it for our clinic and it's pretty easy to set up, appears accurate, and seems Our favorite part about the base is how large it is. There is a bow at the center of the stainless steel base and it pops up as you get off making a noise every time someone stands on it. we do not like that at all. it is kind of annoying as you get off it it makes a popping noise. In my opinion, the price is right and I would buy it again.

Until now, this is the only scale that has included the railing as part of it. We have tried everything and nothing has come close! Thank you for providing a device that will allow her to get an accurate reading whilst hanging on to the rail.
