Earlier this year, on August 30, 2018, I purchased this scale. We could see the numbers for twelve months, but then the digital display faded to a point where we could not see it. I pulled out the instruction manual and found that the manufacturer is Angel USA LLC. I also tried the battery or AC cord method with the same results. There were no contact details for the manufacturer, including an address, telephone number, email address, or any other way I could identify and contact them. Additionally, there are no details discussed regarding support or warranty policies. In researching all the leads from Amazon's webpage for this product, I found no information about the manufacturer. searched the Internet, and I found that everyone who sells scales from this company similarly doesn't offer any info about the company, the product warranty, or customer service. In order to buy this scale, you should know that it will not last very long and you'll be stuck with it afterward. As a result, I will be replacing the entire scale rather than just a display since I ordered a replacement display in the first place. It is not appropriate for Amazon to list this product as one of its "Amazon's Choice" items when the manufacturer tries to keep its customers in the dark.

We received this properly packaged, as one would expect for an electronic instrument, in a timely manner. As a result of past experience, I know that electronic scales will not work correctly on linoleum floors. I am having trouble understanding the instructions in the book. There are symbols in the instruction book that are not included in this guide. The YouTube video mentioned for calibration gave confusing and conflicting instructions! I found it and I also bought the pdf instruction book to see if I could get it to clarify things. Weight readings on the scale indicated that it was 70 pounds heavy.
