According to what I've read, there isn't a problem with attracting lint. I don't know if it's because they don't properly wash it. However, I only use cold water that is gentle on these. The fabric has a lot of flex. Seriously, fantastically, fantastically fantastically fantastically fantastically fantastically fantastically fantastically fantastically fantastically The size is a little large, but I suppose that's preferable to being too small. I'm a large to extra-large woman. large t- Shirts because I lift weights and have biceps that aren't always well-fitting. This was roomy, but not a tent, due to its large size. However, there are some drawbacks. There are numerous small pockets between the top and the bottom that do not appear to be large enough or designed properly to be functional. Example: Three or four small fabric rings on the left shoulder appear to be ideal for storing pens and even penlights. Bending down and reaching, however, can cause the pens and penlights to fall out because they lack a bottom support or pocket of some sort. It also appears to be a simple design fix. Another case in point: I'd like to put my cutting shears in one of the small pockets on the top of my pants, but none of them are big enough. When I try to put scissors or other small items in the large cargo pockets, they collide with my knees as I walk. Maybe they should provide some sort of guide as to what each of the little pockets is supposed to be used for, because most of them appear to be a waste of space; seriously, this would be fantastic. Also, please add a bungee loop near the chest pocket where we can attach our ID badges. Students studying nursing! br>br> I despised the student-approved nursing scrubs, so I looked around my neighborhood for a few local businesses that had been given permission to sew on my school's official nursing emblem. They already had the pattern and only charged me $7 to sew it on whatever product I brought them, which was ideal because I could use these instead.
My scrub tops are extremely important to me. When you're required to wear them for a period of 13 days. You want them to be able to fit in all the right places for 14 hours a day. Unisex scrubs irritate me because they are clearly not designed for men. My previous brand had been discontinued when I came across these. I found the size to be slightly larger than other brands I've worn in the past. The pockets took some getting used to, but the more I wore them, the more I liked them. The pockets are almost like hoodie pockets in that they don't join together (thankfully), but they have a good bit of depth to them that I really like, and the stretch isn't as much as the Jockey Stretch scrubs (if anyone has tried them), but it's enough to know it's there. They don't feel like traditional stretch scrubs; instead, they look and feel like traditional poplin material (perhaps a little softer) to keep the men's look.
In terms of quality, they've outperformed my expectations, and they've held up well during work and washing. I work as an Animal Tech at a shelter, and the GFlex material has outlasted any other material I've used on my paws, claws, and teeth. The only disadvantage is that I am 6' tall and weigh 155 pounds. It's difficult for me to size up things. I'm a petite woman with a petite frame. Bottoms are tall in this material. The pants had to be hemmed by 412 inches in order for the waist and length to fit comfortably (a regular small is too short, and a regular medium is too big in the waist). Hemming them was not a problem, but it was a major pain. In terms of tops, I had to order both a small and a medium to see which one would fit better. I'm also disappointed to report that the neck size difference is only 12". All other lengths and widths are identical in the two sizes; they are too wide in the neck and chest, but the length is perfect; I'm afraid that if I order a small, it will fit everywhere except the length. And I'm not going to spend another $28 hoping for a better fit. Quality and comfort received a total of four stars. - Because I'm aware that my body build isn't a generic normal size, and production wouldn't outweigh the need, I gave it a one-star rating because the size chart and fitment were inaccurate.
I'm not sure if it's because they switched materials or what, but the scrubs aren't as good as they once were. I had a couple of pairs of Dickies that had probably 200 or more wash cycles under their belts and never faded. However, after only 10 washes, the pair I recently purchased is beginning to fade. The material in the crotch is visibly starting to thin three months later. This purchase has left me extremely disappointed. I'm usually willing to pay a little more for a higher-quality product, but these aren't even close to my old dickies.
I have three of these tops and they are all fantastic! From the bottom of the back collar to the bottom of the scrub top, they are 31" long. Cherokee tops are 2" longer than this. Because I'm 6'3" with a 30" inseam, most shirts are too short for me, but Dickie's are fantastic! br>br>The other Dickie's scrubs I own are the Everyday scrubs, which I like but are a little heavier and have a split on the sides. These have a slight sheen to them and are a little lighter in weight, but they still feel like a heavy-duty scrub. The waist level pockets are side entry instead of top entry, which is a little different than my other scrubs, but they are very large so they work great. br>br>They are definitely not a light weight scrub, but they do not feel restrictive. br>br>The waist level pockets are side entry instead of top entry, which is a little different than my other scrubs, but they are very large so they work great. They hold up to wrinkles fairly well, better than Dickie's Everyday scrubs, but possibly less than a super light weight 100% cotton scrub. br>br>One thing to note is that the material appears to be "dirty" in a bad way. I got a speck of baby powder on the front of my scrubs and had to wash it off because it was quite noticeable. br>br>Overall, these are my favorite scrubs, and I'm about to order two more. I would strongly suggest it. The only disappointment is that the sheen on this material does not match that of the Dickie's Everyday scrubs, which I prefer because of the button/zipper front of the Everyday scrub pant.
Everywhere I go, I wear a big shirt. with the exception of these In this scrub top and bottom, I'm wearing a size medium. Definitely go down a size if you're between sizes. The side pockets are fine, but they take a little getting used to after years of "top load" pockets on the front of my scrubs; these are a little stiff, but they still flex. Although not as comfortable as Dickies Dynamix scrubs, I believe these will last longer.
