To begin, I'd like to emphasize how comfortable and versatile these scrubs are. I work a 12-hour shift, and these scrubs have proven their worth in terms of comfort and utility after only a few weeks of use. These scrubs are the equivalent of "dry fit" performance clothing such as work out gear or fishing apparel, which helps me stay cool and dry in a fast-paced environment where I frequently find myself sweating. The top has a vented back, similar to a PFG button-up shirt, which helps you stay cool. I frequently have to put on additional equipment, which increases the number of layers I wear, and these scrubs help keep me cool. The scrub pants have deep pockets that are large enough to hold my phone and other personal items. They also have a handy "elastic D ring" near the waist that can be used to attach a lanyard or badge. I am 5' 9" tall and weigh 185 pounds, and these scrubs in the medium size set fit me perfectly. The Carhartt Forces have nothing on Figs, Cherokee Elite, Grey's Anatomy, or really any other scrub. On a daily basis, I receive compliments on these items. It has the feel of silk but the toughness of steel. To save money, I usually only buy one pair and wash them every day when I get home from work. I worked three 12's a week for six months on a pair of these, and I even washed them with bleach once, and they still look new! I'm getting one of each color just in case they go out of business for some reason! These are the scrubs you need if you want to be comfortable and look good while doing it!.
I bought four more pairs because I liked them so much. They're extremely comfortable and cool, which is ideal for someone like me who sweats a lot.
By chance, I purchased this slimfit top. However, it has inspired me to shed some pounds. If the damn thing fit, I think I'd really like the fabric.
My go- I like the quality and material of these scrubs for work. They do run a little big, so I usually order a medium in shirts and a small in scrubs.
Purchased for my husband, who only works in Carhartt. He used to wear the ripstop version, but the colors faded over time, and he was always hot in them. This version is lightweight and breathable, with a hint of stretch. In the hospital, he hopes to stay for many seasons.
