The cord has shorted out in my case as well in the last year or so. Inquiries about the warranty can be addressed to the company. Although the price seems a bit high, I still consider it reasonable.

This is an excellent light for a reasonable price

The loupes work well with this. It is not uncommon for me to work in dental offices without overhead lights as a dental hygienist. It is beyond me why they do not understand, but they do. After finally deciding to get this light and try it out, I finally bought it. I love the way this light works! It's not as good as a $1500 light that goes with my loupes, but for what I need it to do it works. Visions Loupes work quite nicely with the universal clip, which I have designed for them. It is a great light if you don't use a light every day, but you do not want to spend the money on a more expensive one. It would be better if the battery life was longer. At the end of a day with no lunch for 7 hours, it flickers. In the event of a lunch, I try to take care of the charge I found that this worked well for my needs.

This is a very cheap product, but well worth the money

Since I bought it two years ago, I've used it almost continuously. Despite being blind, I wear glasses with loupe lenses, and to secure the light (and cord) to my glasses, I had to use zip ties. It is difficult to find a better product at this price. Rather than just purchasing one fancy surgical light, I would buy five of these. The money is well spent

I'm so glad you like it. For $30, I think this is a real steal. I haven't used it in the OR, but that isn't important because it usually goes for projects around the house. Despite the battery life going to hell or if it breaks in the future, I would absolutely purchase this headlamp again. It's not heavy, the light is even, and it's not clumsy like some of the giant head lamps I have used in the past.

I did not think the money was worth it

The light came damaged, to the point that two small holes were formed on the back of the battery. This leaked all over the battery and within its plastic wrap, so the battery could not hold the slightest charge. Because of this, it is unknown whether the light ever operated. The price was really cheap, so it wasn't a big loss, anyway. There was only one issue.

Working on prototypes of cars with electrical control units and electronics is what I do

It is my job to work with electrical control units and wiring harnesses on prototype vehicles. Several times a day I am required to work in the tight spaces of a car's interior or engine bay, all the while manipulating small wires and connectors with both hands. I can keep it on my safety glasses and it always shines on the area where I am With about 2 hours of use per day, I get a battery life of about 4 or 5 days. Having a backup battery available in case I run my primary battery down in the middle of a job was my main reason for buying two. The flashlight hardly ever finds its way into my pocket.

The color doesn't get as bright as it used to

The battery in my phone only lasts for 8 months, and I have used it only 20 times. Despite being aware that you get what you pay for, I am so dissatisfied with this. No matter how much battery is in the light, it does not get as bright.

Then it stopped working after six weeks

This was great for 3 weeks, then it stopped working. It took about 6 weeks to get it to work. Despite the universal clip, my sports frame will not work with it. Using money in the wrong way.
