Currently, I am a dental hygienist, and I purchased this light while one of my loupe lights was being I wouldn't consider it a bad light for the price. A solid 6 or 7 hours can be achieved with it. I plug it in at lunch to allow me to finish my 9-hour work As far as brightness is concerned, the light is okay. Even though the overhead light is still better than the overhead light, the lamp from the company that is getting repaired is not as bright.
