a resealable, sturdy plastic bag that can stand on its own. There's no need to dispose of a shabby bag. There was also a sturdy and well-made scoop. br>This 'coarse' pumice is coarse, which is exactly what I needed for cleaning and texture work on softer metals. Between your fingers, you can feel the grit. On silver and, most likely, all softer metals, it will leave fine but visible scratches. I had hoped for something like this. br>br>I have a small amount of old, very fine pumice that I use to leave a very soft texture on soft metals. In my pumice foot bars, I use this to make soap. For a gentle exfoliation, this is the ideal texture. If you're looking for a powder consistency, the other grit sizes are available.
This is ideal for my gardener's soap, which I make by hand. It's just rough enough to feel, but not rough enough to be dangerous.
For extra scrubbing, I combine it with my toothpaste. Along with flossing and a whitening mouth rinse, it polishes and cleans my teeth. It is not recommended to use this product on a daily basis as it may cause tooth damage.
