How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Provides rotational power to another part of a motorized system by transmitting torque between parallel shafts.
A 14-degree pressure angle. 5 degrees for a higher gear contact ratio, which results in quieter operation than larger pressure angles.
For applications requiring a precise balance between transferring torque and controlling changes in speed and direction of rotation, a diametral pitch of 16 is recommended.
For tensile strength and hardness, use high carbon steel.

Questions & Answers

Both keyways and set screws are supposed to be included in Martin s1622bs 5/8 gears. Do these?

According to what I've heard, the B series are smooth bore, so you'd have to specify that you want keyways and set screws cut into them.

There isn't a set-up for these items. a key or a screw- The inside of the bore has been carved in a unique way. However, using a $25 tap, I was able to drill an appropriate sized hole and tap threads into it. The home depot has a die set that you can use. Check out this item if you're looking for set screws:.
