How Our Score Is Calculated
Product Description
By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Provides rotational power to another part of a motorized system by transmitting torque between parallel shafts.
A 14-degree pressure angle. 5 degrees for a higher gear contact ratio, which results in quieter operation than larger pressure angles.
For applications requiring a precise balance between transferring torque and controlling changes in speed and direction of rotation, a diametral pitch of 16 is recommended.
Compressive strength and wear resistance are provided by cast iron.
Questions & Answers
Have you ever used this gear on a South Bend 9" for an idler?
My lathe, on the other hand, is similar to a South Bend 9". My open belt drive is a Sidney Tool Co with three thread gear divisions, but the back gears need to be changed to get three different thread divisions outside of those three.
