How Our Score Is Calculated
Product Description
By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Provides rotational power to another part of a motorized system by transmitting torque between parallel shafts.
A 14-degree pressure angle. 5 degrees for a higher gear contact ratio, which results in quieter operation than larger pressure angles.
For applications requiring a precise balance between transferring torque and controlling changes in speed and direction of rotation, a diametral pitch of 12 is recommended.
For tensile strength and hardness, use high carbon steel.
Questions & Answers
What's the bore's diameter?
Hello, your question is incomplete; click on the Gear, then determine the number of teeth you require by looking at the Pitch Diameter chart; they are a nice made USA product.br>Nice USA product; better than I expected and less expensive than a Chinese product Roger
Is there a second set screw on this gear?
It appears that there are no screws and that the pilot hole has been bored.
Is there a keyway on these gears?
The 1/2" and 5/8" bore gears I purchased do not have this feature.
