I used it for the same purpose that my mother in-law did. Law has never heard anything before, and the sound spreads far and wide. She had not anticipated anything.

Excellent craftsmanship. Everything for the new air conditioner was purchased by me. I wanted to make sure my air conditioner was secure and off the ground. Once the ground was leveled, it was easy to set up. No complaints about how well it holds my unit.
For my heat pump installation, I'm glad I got this. Originally, this was supposed to be the base with a stand on top and the heat pump on the stand, but the stand didn't work out, so this was used instead. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get it off the ground in time for the winter.
The product arrived damaged due to poor packaging, so I'm giving it a one-star rating. It may be strong enough for its intended purpose, but it isn't strong enough to withstand shipping in the provided packaging. Before boxing up this square pad, it would have been simple to add corner padding, which would have prevented the damage to the pad's corners. One corner was shattered, and there was a long crack running down the side that I'm worried will compromise the pad's structural integrity and cause it to shift or collapse when it's loaded with weight. A third corner has been chipped but is unaffected. I suppose I could fix the broken corner with some heavy-duty epoxy, but I'm not sure if that will provide long-term stability, and I shouldn't have to waste time and money fixing a new product because it arrived damaged. As others have noted, there is a 1 inch wide blob of plastic from the injection mold in the center of the top, but this is a minor flaw that can be flattened out in 5 seconds with coarse grit sandpaper and is not worth complaining about.
This was purchased to replace the pump in my above-ground pool. Very strong and durable. It really works.
It appears to have been built to withstand the test of time- We bought it so that we could use it as a platform for our pool heater. We're still leveling the ground it's on, but it appears to be working. So far, everything has worked out well.
It would have been fine if it hadn't had a half-dollar-sized raised defect in the dead center. It was as if a blob of hot rubber had solidified on it. I'm torn between returning it or sanding it down because it's so large. It would be unacceptable if something had to lay on this spot, but I'm using it as a generator so that nothing touches it. Please look at the photos. I'll give you a higher rating if you can persuade me that this is normal.
I was able to avoid the cost of pouring a concrete pad for my pool heater by using this pad.
The item arrives in the condition described. It's sturdy enough to hold our large air conditioning unit. To level it, place it on a slant with blocks underneath. It's a heavy-duty piece of equipment that performs admirably.
