On an old but still very nice piece of deck furniture, I'm using two of these to secure the wheels. It is clear that stainless steel is necessary for lasting outdoor use, yet original manufacturers rarely bother with this. In terms of bore inside the parts, it is about 1/2 inch, and it works great.
My search for the perfect solution ended here. The collar is made of stainless steel and is durable. The design is appealing and the construction is solid. I used 1/2" stainless steel rod and it fit snugly. I love it! The reason for its high rating is because of that.
I was pleased with how the part was made and how it worked.

The 1C scale- It is 050-0 A single stainless steel 304 - S T303 The clamping collar measures 1/2 inch in diameter and is 1 inch long There is a perfect fit between these clamping collars of 1/8" OD. Essentially, I'm using four of them to assemble a wheel assembly for a very heavy patio In the photo, you can see that the stainless steel axle is precisely 1/2" in diameter, and the collars are very tight. Stainless collars with TWO Allen screws provide maximum clamping force if you need moderate clamping force. Single Allen screws can handle moderate clamping force.
