A little more than 1/2 inch It will be checked for sure by me
It is not listed on the weight spec, but the user at question/answer reported that it lifted around 190 lbs (lbs). The 50# I've used it for has not shown any signs of trouble.
The rope would be too big for this pulley if it were 5/8". It's a shame but I have that piece in another city. I would be glad to measure it However, 5/8" seems to be too large. was able to run 1/4" cable just fine, and I thought it might be able to handle up to 3/8"-sized cables I remember that, but I'm not certain.
You would be better off using a deep grove roller if you were looking for these to be free floating. Please find attached a sample of my writing

It will be used as a dog run of 75'. There was no question that all the reviews were true. The pulleys are made of cheap plastic wheels with "holds dogs up to 100 pounds. ". As a result, I had to buy one of those chain link threaded link things to hook between it and the lead, no I like this thing a lot! A smooth and strong brass pulley that is quiet and smooth. It was my only worry that Ollie would yank the front off the 20' x 20' shed front we firmly mounted it to, but he is SO happy to be out of prison (his kennel), he does not even try to escape.
There is no difference in price between these pulleys and those you can purchase at ACE hardware, and I didn't have to wear a mask to buy them. I figured they would be more expensive on Amazon, but it is exact same price.
The products of China are lightweight and cheaply made. This pulley can be used for ropes up to 480 lbs if you are looking for something that can handle ropes up to light weights. If you need something stronger for wire rope with significant weight,.
My favorite design does not appeal to me. As a general rule, I prefer not to critique products whose design is obvious and you purchase them. There is a drawback to this, though, in the fact that the single point for securing the unit is in the center, making it difficult to use in some situations. These units would be more attractive to me if there were more choices. As a result, there is a bit of instability laterally that I wish we could avoid. To conclude, let me say this. This product does what it is advertised to do.
Pulleys used were small rope pulleys and did not roll when the feeds were weighed down with 3/16th inch cable and 6 pounds. I found them to be much more expensive, and they are much larger than standard 1/4" cables. It's very easy to install them and they work Even in bad weather, and when exposed to strong wind, they hold up. I am pulling the cable through a cable trolley that is twisting. It was something I did not consider. There is no reason for them to. The idea of adding something inline was tried, but I have yet to find.
Several of these are used for the counterweighted lines that hold up antennas for ham radio. My problem with other pulleys I have used to this end is that the lines run off the pulley and jam due to sloppy clearances between pulley and block. It has very good tolerances, won't jam, or rust up, and is designed for extremely long life. Excellent book! I highly recommend it!.
A very good product with a lot of smoothness and durability. This is what I bought to hook weights from my ceiling in the garage so that I could do lat pulldowns, triceps, etc. My only complaint is that it's hard to get the pin back into its hole once the wheel is removed from the housing. Since I did not want to do that again, I put it in a vice to hold it together while I put the pin through, but that is the last time that I will have to do that, so I'm not concerned.
I use this as a pulley all the time!.
