Questions & Answers

It can be used to mod a console or electronics with leds, for example?

There are no issues with soldering it. It was just one led that I did

Can you tell me what voltage it is? Accepts 120 v current from the house or current from a solar panel?

In terms of voltage, the house voltage would be 120v, and the solar panel voltage may be somewhere between 24v and 29v, respectively. In terms of current (amperes), it will be determined by voltage applied and wire gauge BT

Is there any other color other than red that you can do?

The color options we offer are green and amber. To see them on Amazon, do an Amazon search with the term "temco magnet wire".

The wire appears to be waterproof, but does it really? Can you suggest one that is waterproof and thin if this is not available?

There's no way to do that and I can't do it

I like this stuff for speaker cables
5/5

The speaker wire is used to run my 5-channel system from a Denon AVR to an Elac Debut 2 powered by an AVR. A total of 0 speakers are present. You sound like you're a genius! A channel is made by cutting two lengths for the channel and twisting them together. A wrap should be two inches wide. You can easily convert this into a cable by stripping the insulation on each end with a knife and sandpaper. There is a little work involved, but I doubt you will find a speaker cable that sounds as good as this for less than $1000. As a result of my discovery of My original cables were basically magnet wire years ago. I compared them to a few cables from 14 gauge lamp cord to $1000 AudioQuest cables and the only thing in the comparison was the $1000 cables, but I didn't think they were better because they were so much cheaper. The AudioQuest X-I just gave away is going to a good home The bulk cables I bought with the receiver are as follows This is far from the truth.

Home science projects of all kinds can be done with this
5/5

Making an electromagnet is easy with this. A linear motor I made was composed of the wire wrapped around a small glass tube with several tiny round magnets stacked inside. Eight AAA batteries (12v) are connected in series to power it. With the electricity connected, the batteries react in a way that causes them to shoot out My project was to convert an older mechanical clock to electricity and this was exactly what I needed. I have a lot of dust and animal hair in my home, so mechanical cuckoo mechanisms can fail easily. It is insanely costly to replace a clockwork, it must be wound constantly, and it requires upkeep. I use rechargeable Eneloop batteries in my clocks, and I run them for a full year on just one charge. In addition, Eneloop batteries aren't as prone to leaks as alkaline batteries, and they don't land Since I bought my first Eneloop battery, I have never used another brand. Since I have bought over 50 of the little suckers, I've been able to save money and the environment at the same time. I now use them for clocks, remote controls, flashlights, and various projects.

The copper magnet wire of the TEMCo series is 30 AWG in diameter
4/5

This coil is 2 oz, 392 feet, 155 degrees Celsius, red. The copper magnet wire of the TEMCo series is 30 AWG in diameter.
This roll of magnet wire that measures 2 oz/392 ft is made of 155°C magnetic coil - red* I ordered it for a project that imitates those strings of fairy lights sold on the internet. This is a good solution, but the smallest leds I have found have been different than those I have seen in the other lighting mentioned. Honestly, I like the wire because it is very small and I may need to increase the size several times to handle all the tiny leds I need.

Wire that is good for prototyping PCBs
5/5

There is nothing I do not like about this wire. I used it to wire a prototype PCB on a plated perfboard. Put solder on your iron tip and heat to 700F, then burn off the varnish on the ends of the wire. While Kynar wire is a bit easier to work with for that purpose, magnet wire has a bit better capability to attach to small SMT pads without melted.

A copper wire insulated with PU / PA is used
3/5

As the temperature rises, the solder becomes stronger. For heat to properly burn off the insulation when soldering, you need to increase the temperature of your soldering iron. Heat up the solder fast and fast.

There aren't many good things you can say about magnet wire
5/5

A five-star rating is only given if it is not defective. A total of 8 resistance units were measured for the entire coil. The resistance was not more than 3 Ohms, so I simply soldered a DC connector to the free ends and connected it to a 12VDC regulated power supply. In the event that I dropped a three It created a fairly powerful electromagnet by combining a 9/16"-head bolt in the middle of the spool with a 1/4"-long bolt. I can't believe this is magnet wire. It's awesome! The funny part about that is.

I received it earlier than I was told when it would arrive
5/5

It has been a while since I made any coils for a small experiment. I started winding and after making the coils I need and not having any problems with broken wires or cracked varnish, there is still enough wire for a second.
